Dear friends,

We haven't heard from Anil for quite long time now. Has anybody got an idea what he is up to?

He's always been such a great and active member and a supportive friend to everybody, conspicuous by his great posts during the past few months and by his absence in these recent weeks. Hope he is doing fine anyway.

Katy

just today my bhabhi got NER saying that You have obtained insufficient points to qualify for immigration to Canada, the minimum requirement being 67 points. You were assigned 5 points for your educational credential at the Secondary School level. Although your Bachelor degree was on file, transcripts were not on file to confirm the number of years of education.

but the thing is i have provided the same evidence that is only degree but i got PER why they rejected in her case
is there any possibility to contact them and tell them the actual position plz plz plz send me the email addy or fax or contact no. where she can plea this is unfair
very depressed plz plz plz any body reply soon

Hi,

Sorry to read about your bhabhi's NER. To the best of my knowledge you may have a ground for appeal if they provided the transcript along with the original documents. I do not think the CIO accepts new information provided after the initial review had been completed.

Here's the link to a blog about how to deal with unfair NER, but they need to act fast http://get2canada.wordpress.com/how-to-deal-with-unfair-ner/

Hi guys. We did our first day of CIIP today which was a group orientation - it was excellent. Will do a full write up of our experience on my blog when I get back tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow morning we have a 1.5 hour one on one session to discuss our personal action plan and they then link and connect us to their supporting partners etc. All quite exciting stuff.

Wayne.
