LONDON UPDATE: First visa for post june 2010

Thanks to all of you and this great forum.

I have collected my passport today and got the Immigrant visa valid upto march, 2012 along with COPR and other instructions

I am so much happy and thankful to Almighty then all the precious inputs by the generous people here.

ONE thing i want to make sure, there is NO PICTURE on the visa ... so is it normal or they made a mistake? please confirm me...
Planning to settle in Vancouver and flying plans in late september. I will be happy to assist anyone around. Please do not hesitate.

Congratulation and best wishes for dreaming life in Canada.
I have one question that London Visa office, they use to send 2nd AOR or direct medical. How they contact by postal mail or e-mail

Well I just checked with my bank and they haven't cashed our draft yet - so we're probably looking like at least another week or two for PPR. But let's see what happens.

We have a 2 week trip to Canada planned for end of August (flights booked) so would be highly desirable to get our visas validated then.

And now for the big news for all London VO applicants: Congratulations to Danishmooro!! I think its safe to say that a lot of London applicants have been waiting to hear of your visa as eagerly as you have been. You have finally opened the doors for the rest of us as well. May I ask what your ecase status is now? Have you got a DM status like our friends from NDVO?

Also, has anyone heard from James as yet?

Wayne, I hope you get your PPRs today or at least by the end of next week.

As for myself, my meds were received on the 7th of June and the other docs on the 9th. I'm hoping and praying with all my heart to hear something by the 10th of July. (I know it is less than 5 weeks but one can always hope!)
