I think you will find the information in your Visa Office Specific Appendix A. For ND it is item 13, pg A-6. PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS: Consult the FEES section of our WEB SITE or the GUIDE FOR SKILLED WORKER APPLICANTS to calculate your fees. You must include abank draft payable to the Canadian High Commission for the Right of permanent residence fee for yourself and all accompanying family members......

I really dont know... I think it should be the date we have for RBVO... Anyone has a different opinion?

i have a question........even i am also planning to apply in CEC. If we apply in CEC do we have to withdraw the application of FSW or should we process both of them ................(don't get mad if it is stupid question.)

website says you can decide when you receive PR approval on which category you should get admitted

Wishing you the best and your family with the coming medicals :)

thank you moori....done medicals yesterday but we need to go back tomorrow to the optometrist for the eyeglass of my husband since he was referred by our DMP to an opto due to farsightedness.... :) :)

Dear canadestin, thanks for your reply, I contacted 2 persons who got NER, both of them had already their client ID by calling CIO.....the first one said: after 3days receiving his NER email the status changed to Decision made, the second one said: he got NER email and the status changed from CIO received to ER complete and it remains till today...

My problem is how come I didn't receive any any email since my status has changed to ER complete...and it is more than a month.....in case I've got PER it should be already changed to Received By VO.....I am 100% sure that I didn't receive any other email from CIO....I am really confused now..

Hey Buffalo Folks,

Just a thought. We should all request Dr.Hasib to predict how buffalo moves as his prediction is always rite.

Dr.Hasib, if you see this post please excuse me!. Sorry for asking you do an extra work. We all boys are getting frustrated with the slow processing at buffalo.

COMPLETELY AGREE!! What a waste of time, effort and money. Complete mockery of the "system".
If the purpose is to sit on our fees and earn interest off of it, without really processing files within a promised timeframe, then the fees should be charged at the end of the process instead of at the beginning. We have paid for a "service" and there is no charity taking place from either side. I know there are people that think that we shouldn't raise any questions cuz Canada is being gracious by letting us be PRs...but on the other hand we are also giving our life and time thereby making it a fair transaction! So, if one side is not keeping its word, the other should be allowed to either penalize it in some way or to have additional legal options available.

Dear emadg and architect, the one thing i can tell you is that according to unofficial rules they will not request a passport before the delivery of the baby. Somewhere in the Passport Request should be mentioned (not sure cause have not received yet, but read somewhere previous posts) that "pregnant woman should not send their passports for visa". And if at the border, while landing, appear to be pregnant and without documents for the baby (as their cannot be issued before the baby :) they can refuse you landing.

There is several reasons for such attitude: 1) the baby should be born healthy (if delivering in Canada they cannot refuse you and they don't like it). 2) Crossing the border and being pregnant is like not paying for one family member (lost revenue).

If someone has proof of inverse, please post!

I have a case proving otherwise. my friend landed with his pregnant wife and his wife delivered CANADIAN citizen in the hospital. no problem whatsoever

you might mean cases when baby is delivered after passport request, but before landing... that will be a headache.

well said!!
