Many Congrats Salman, :D and welcome to the next round of wait!

As for your ECAS I would say yes, it's quite normal. It will change to "Received By Visa Office" few days after London has received your paper file.

Best Wishes!

Katy

CONSULTANTS MAKING FOOL

Dear Friends of this forum,

i have recieved my PER yesterday for which i was anxiously waiting. i wanted to share a small piece of information which might be useful for those who will be going to apply now.

INSTEAD OF USING CONSULTANTS, I ADVICE YOU TO FILE YOUR APLICATION YOURSELF.

my case is a live example...i found 4 to 5 consultants in Karachi who were charging 1500-2000 $ for filing my application. i dint have enough money to use consultant so therefore i thought to apply myself and found this forum online (which served as a great consultant itself)

before i was sending my application, therewas a 1% doubt in my heart that if i have made a mistake in my application, i was going thru the application and i found a consultant who was charging just 100$ for preparing file, compiling documents and checking them[he dint use USE AS A REPRESENTATIVE FORM.

the only thing which he did was filed all the documents which i already gave him in the form of paper clip attached to it...other than that he removed my orignal birth certificate, marriage certificate by saying that it is not needed by CIO...this thing made me doubtful about that consultant. thanks to our forum member AMMARTAHIR who cleared this doubt from me.

purpose of writng is to tell the new applicants about such consultant who misguide you for wat you paid them.

regards,
salman

Hi guys, I received passport request today, which came with my original application files. My eCas Status is still "In process". When will it change to "Decision made" or "Visa granted"?
By the way, I completed my medical examination on 03 May and sent all requested documents to VO 10 May. VO received my medical examination results on 02 Jun and added "Medical results received" into my detailed eCas status.

I was just wondering how many days I should stay in Canada to receive permanent resident card? Is it normally as long as 40 business days?

Another question is, can I land in Vancouver for the first time as I wrote in my application and then land in Toronto next time and live there from then on?

Thanks.

Hope all of us will have good news this month. ;D

Atleast 10 cases should be finalized to show the average processing time at a particular VO....that's what NDVO has done...on fast track they finalized 10+ cases... and now they are taking rest :P

Dear NDVO Admins,

Not to put any undue pressure on you - but Uncertain's status needs to be updated. He too has received his visa.

Thank you Kittu,

how can i know if it is a PER??? i did not get any email from them yet, and when i send them an email they said your application is "awaiting review" and the ecase is showing ER complete!!!

Well, be patience because eventhough ECAS is saying ER Complete it doesn't mean it is!
ECAS is telling us they send us a letter at 15th of March but never got any letter or any news for that matter....
ECAS isn't up to date...
You'll see it soon enough when it says RVBO!

Kind regards,
Louise!
