No worries Mayank. I have read their requirements and though it looks weird and stupid as well to ask for marriage photos, but you are able to provide them for what they need. My dearest wishes for a positive processing :)

It's not about Canada, but...
We had a gigantic storm with hail yesterday in my city. I've never seen anything like this before...
Look at this (photos from my city):

Hi people :)

I have a question to those who have kids in school age and taking them to Canada - what kind of documents from school are you planning to take with you to Canada?

i found this:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before-education-prepare.asp

"It is important that you arrive in Canada with documents that will help schools place your child in the proper learning environment. Bring transcripts (report cards), samples of your child's school work, course outlines and anything else that will help Canadian educators learn about your child's level of learning."

What kind of samples of child's school work or other documents?
Many thnx Kasia for this link :)

Friends:

Yesterday I have completed medical of mine and my wife's as well. Today my DMP has informed me that they have send the documents to concern authority via FEDEX and also give me the tracking number.

Besides this, today I also send the Personal Net Worth Statement to Singaepore VO via DHL which has been requested by them along with MR. Both the documents should be received by SG VO by tomorrow.

Let's see how much time they will take this time for next notification.

I request admin to update my status in spreedsheet.

from where u got information that pp should b returned in 45 days? moreover did u read terms while signing the pr application? if u want ur pp they will b happily sending u back....but if u want pp with visa then wait.....dont act as a fool n write to minister abt this....in case as u said if ur pp i misplaced....they will inform u abt that.....one more thing the delay can b of many reasons/.....one of them is....not sending old pp.....do u have old pp? if so did u send them/
i agree with u totally but keeping the passports with them for this long is RIDICULOUS. A passport is not meant only for Canada PR processing. There are as many important things connected with the passport. If Visa office is not capable of finishing the whole process and issue a visa , this new system of asking passports along with RPRF, medicals, PCC should not be introduced.

i2canil:- As you said, now the new system post 26th june is to speed up things. the first review is done at Nova Scotia. then the file is transferred to new delhi. they do the second review including the background checks. from the CIC website it is clear that RPRF is encashed only after the case is approved and prior to visa stamping. Now from the various time lines in this forum,it is noticed that in some cases visa is stamped just 10 days from the date of encashment of RPRF. I know other cases also with similar time lines. now what is security check...i know one particular case where a person has lived in london for 1 year for studies and worked 1 year. while filing the case she applied for a new passport reporting that she has lost the passport and filed an affidavit that she has not travelled abroad. now last week she received the visa in just 6 months sharp. this is a case i personally know. so what is the relevance of security check..

another notable feature is that those who have completed the medicals and sent the PPs in the last week of march are in queue and those who have send the passports in the last two week of april and early may have received the visas within 1 month. This shows that NDVO wants to bring down the average time for processing post 26th june. now i think people like me and silent will get the visas by june last week...most probably after almost 3 months ..

Hi all,

Ok I am now going away for 3 days without internet access so I will be back on Sunday afternoon. Will try to attend to my PMs when I get back but please be patient since I may have quite a lot to get through!

Hoping to hear good news on the thread when I trawl back through the posts!

We have our CIIP on 21st + 22nd June in London. Although I am not intending to record the whole thing I will certainly be documenting our experience here and on my blog to help give people an idea.
Wayne.

Hi Wayne,
when did you get booked for these dates? I have applied about a month ago. There is no reply from CIIP. Can I attend even if I am not booked for those dates?
Thanks
