Dear All,

Today i got registered post from ND Vo.

At first sight i though it is Medical ...BUT...Its not.

Vo requires following things :


(1) Education Certificate/Diploma/degree Graduation degree for spouse.

At the time of application i send 3 years BA marksheet with Transcript But i was not

Having my spouse degree certificate as university did not issued . I am confused here...

Should i send them Original Marksheets & Degree or Notarised ? As in letter is not mentioned .


(2) Marriage Photos of yourself & Spouse.Provide around 40-50 photos as detailed in questionnaire.

At the time of application i send marriage certificate . Also i am married since 2.5 years ( No child). In my spouse passport my name is there as husband. I do know why VO did not considered it ???


(3) for yourself Please fill out enclosed marriage questionnaire.

14 questions are there.


Need your help on it.

don't worry. it is routine. I am sure medicals will follow soon after u have sent these. Only notarised copies of degrees need be sent.

Hi Mayank, in a way its a good news that VO is looking into your application.

1. Do send notarized copies of your Degree's. If you don't have degree's then get duplicates from the university as VO will not be convinced if you send them mark sheets again.
2. Send them photos of your marriage along with photos of your honeymoon or any other place you both visited after your marriage. (As much as you can)
3. Sit with your wife and fill this questionnaire, After filling it copy it and save it as future reference. (Worst case - they could call you for an interview and may ask questions from it)

I too had my wife's name in my passport and my name in her's , but in the interview she asked some questions related to our marriage. I was sure that they wont doubt our marriage and wont ask any marriage questions but they did!.

Just take a chill pill, you just need to satisfy the VO!

One more question m8 - do you have any idea when your RPRF draft was cashed, in relation to when you passport requests were sent?

Our draft still isn't cashed, so if they have to cash it and it clear before passport requests are sent, then I guess we're looking around at least another couple of weeks for PPR.

Hi Wayne i hope you are doing good..

Well the address of the consulate is 38 Grosvenor Road, very easy to find with rockin Canadian Flag... to submit passport you have to queue outside the main door on the street..then you will go in the reception area and they will turn you back in 2 mins... its quick

And Yeah i was about to message you yesterday, that do not worry about encashment because my draft was encashed 2 days before i recieve my passport request..

It seems that when they are ready to send the passport request by then they cash in the draft.. just a thought...

In my case i had checked with the bank earlier they said no i was bit worried then received request 2 days later lolx.... i dont know how they are picking applications for further processing but there is something its not random but as you are picked so you will get it within a week - IMO... i feel really sorry for aug/sep applicants.... keep me update wayne .. cheers..

Thanks for your reply...2 points make them doubt...

(1) In my PP my spouse name is not there as it was issued when i was unmarried AND.

(2) No Child after 2.5 yr of marriage...

Anyway i will make them all details..

they ask these documents because many ppl just to gain points or some consultants attach other pp as spouse to mint money....tthese consultants take money from both principal and dependent applicant....and @ VO..they might have not seen ur name in ur spouse pp....addition to these you dont have child.....so they might have got doubt...nothing to worry..send the potographs and degree certificate.....u need to send only notarized copy of degree

The requests look to be usual as we have seen the same in a handful of applicants earlier.
