The same here too. Our meds reached London VO a week after yours but our draft reached a week before yours, but we are still status quo. Draft not encashed and ECAS still In-Process. Things have not moved at London at all. danishmaroo is the only guy who has reacihed on the other side of the rope as yet.

Ok. Well I am going to call the bank every 1 to 1.5 weeks to see if the draft is cashed. I don't think there's any way we're getting PPR until they've at least presented the cheque to the bank.

Congratulations to Ashisvet and Sunnytwin, all the best!!!

Today, I've sent out all the requested documents to London, the medicals were sent by the DMP. I have the tracking number for the meds but they asked me to check it after 2 days. Not sure about whether they will send it in 2 days or it will reach London in 2 days! ??? They wouldn't give me any further information for some reason! Oh well, at least I've done my part.....now back to the waiting game! :P

Dear All,

Today i got registered post from ND Vo.

At first sight i though it is Medical ...BUT...Its not.

Vo requires following things :

(1) Education Certificate/Diploma/degree Graduation degree for spouse.

At the time of application i send 3 years BA marksheet with Transcript But i was not

Having my spouse degree certificate as university did not issued . I am confused here...

Should i send them Original Marksheets & Degree or Notarised ? As in letter is not mentioned .

(2) Marriage Photos of yourself & Spouse.Provide around 40-50 photos as detailed in questionnaire.

At the time of application i send marriage certificate . Also i am married since 2.5 years ( No child). In my spouse passport my name is there as husband. I do know why VO did not considered it ???

(3) for yourself Please fill out enclosed marriage questionnaire.

14 questions are there.

Need your help on it.

Regards,

Mayank
its very clear mayank,

they ask these documents because many ppl just to gain points or some consultants attach other pp as spouse to mint money....tthese consultants take money from both principal and dependent applicant....and @VO..they might have not seen ur name in ur spouse pp....addition to these you dont have child.....so they might have got doubt...nothing to worry..send the potographs and degree certificate.....u need to send only notarized copy of degree

Hello Everyone in the Forum
I would appreciate if you people can please advice me on these.
1) It is mentioned on the website that you must have proof of your child immunization for few diseases. I have a hospital card showing tick marks and date of immunization against those disease. It is okey or do we need a letter from the doctor certifying the same.
2) Also is it compulsory to get enroll for CIIP Program? Please rely
Thanks and Regards
Sachin

CIIP is a free service and completely optional :)

Same here. I will be checking with the banks too. I hope they dont use Canadapost to send the drafts to Sydney (Canada).

I was thinking that for one terrifying moment (there is a postal strike in Canada atm, although would this affect diplomatic courier which I believe is what CIC use to get their post between visa offices and CIO)?

I can't believe they cannot cash it in the UK, but not 100% sure.

Dear Admins,

Sorry for delay ;)
Please update: medical completed on 19th April
and kindly correct my status on the column L: I only received MR and not RPRF

Hi Mayank,

Looks like your wait for MR isn't over yet!

The requests look to be usual as we have seen the same in a handful of applicants earlier.

Please send ALL the required documents asap.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

one imp advice to all those who got PR.

first time when you going to land in canada....at airport they will ask you to fill a form in which u need to mention ur assests and money u have in ur home country.
its better to mention as much as you can....mentioin how much jewelry u have etc.

u dont need to pay tax for that amount till 2 yrs.....and in 2 yrs u can bring that amount to canada...if u dont mention it and if u want to bring it later then u need to show proof how u got/earned that money.

any decision mades from ND VO today? Whats holding the progress now...

A man had two of the best tickets for the Stanley Cup Final. As he sits down, another man comes along and asks if anyone is sitting in the seat next to him..
"No", he says, "the seat is empty."
"This is incredible!" said the man, "who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Stanley Cup Final, the biggest sporting event of the year, and not use it?"
He says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. My wife was supposed to come with me but she passed away. This is the first Cup Final we haven't been to together since we got married."
"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. I guess you couldn't find someone else, a friend or relative or even a neighbour to take the seat?"
The man shakes his head... "No. They're all at the funeral."

Great one Pippin! It made me laugh so much! Already shared it with some friends... thanks for giving a more positive tone around here.

And of course congratz to everyone getting positive replies lately. You are far too many to congrat you one by one. And good luck to the rest of us :)
