Mari,

I think Buffalo and other VO's will finish those pre-june applicants that had most of the work done before they started receiving post junee applications from CIO. I have read somewhere in this forum about people who have sent inquiries to Buffalo and they reply that they have to wait since post june have priority.

Just my thoughts

Dear Buffalo applicants,

It seems Buffalo is also working on Pre-June applicants. Some applicants received their medical on May. See below link:

Entemaria,

Yes I know its hard not to hear from Buffalo and all these unfairness between offices. At least now you know that they have looked at your file :D

Thanks for your support. +1

When file reached Buffalo I added my spouse with lots of struggle but during that time, i gave only credit card information but when I read the buffalo website again I realised buffalo does not accept credit card I send draft with my spouse's renewed passport copy and finally it gives me some relief when I heard that draft is encashed.
You have to remember my PER dates back to 29 November 2010
(the first PER for buffalo VO in our international spreadsheet)

Hi Mari:

Interesting time line. The applicant submitted the application to Sydney in Nov. 2009 and PPR request June 2011. That's 19 months altogether... So if we go by this time line (which they say does not apply to us), for you and I who submitted our applications in Sep 2010, we should have PPR by Apr 2012... I think this is the worst case scenario.

My gut tells me most of us at Buffalo will get our medical requests by July/August... and hopefully visas before year end. Remember the post June 2011 applicants will only start getting PERs in Nov and their applications will probably reach Buffalo VO in March of 2012 (going by our own time line that is). So, post June 2010 applicants will be priority until March of 2012 at Buffalo, in my opinion... Sorry about all this speculation... Nothing better to do...

Cam,

It sounds completely right except one thing. Consider that we were 1st applicants that Sydney had to look at our documents and give us eligibility. For us it took average 120 days to issue 1st file number but then it reduced to less than that. I think we had 50 something days record too. So it will be more accurate to move November in your calculation back to Sep or Oct.

BTW I like your prediction about July/August medical so much ;)

Mari

49 days and no PER yet!

:( :( :(

betterfuture,

There are a lot of cases where CIO takes longer than average times for no known reasons. Keep your hopes up!

EmmaJ,
Any update about your case? Is medical reflecting in your ecas? Is your RPRF draft cashed?
I called the international dept of my bank today and they promised to get back to me to know the status of the draft. I hope it is cashed already.
Best wishes.

Hi guys, newbie here. I would like to thank you all for coming up with this blog. The information here are very helpful. Can someone please tell me what is PER and what exactly is written on PER. Do they email PER or send it by mail?
Thank you.
Hi second wind, welcome here. PER is positive eligibility review which is actually AOR idvyou refer to CIC documentation. PER was coined by us here on the forum as it was more than an AOR. You can find the text on the blog by our friend here Wayne whose posting name is Cappucino, you will see his post in almost all pages and his blog address is in his signature below.
They mostly email the PER as long as you have authorized them to send you e-mails in your form, or else they will post them. Mostly people get it by e-mail.
Cheers
