This is good news indeed. Congrats. RPRF receipt is not the main thing. Besides, the post man may have delivered it to the wrong address or perhaps keep it for himself
Think of departure date and start searching for ticket.

Well many July, August and September applicants have already been waiting 10 months or so!

Ouch....Wayne, don't douse my burning enthusiasm of the supposed 6 month PR processing time frame...I know it's hardly the case. it's just nice to hope it's possible somehow ;D

Your agent has no idea how to tell the processing times other than to make guesses based on other applicants that he is the agent for.

Honestly, don't sweat it. He is just guessing. IMO there are only 2 types of immigration consultants/agents
1) Those that lie
2) Those that are economical with the truth

hi everyone, i was moved to inactive user sheet but i still follow this thread every now and then...i just came from my interview...visa officer said that she was satified with the result of the interview and she will be sending the medical request thru mail....hopefully i can receive the medical request soon....

Finally I got the medical forms and I made the appointment to the doctor this Saturday.

Dear friends,yesterday i collected my visa dated 19th may from canadian consulate office,kathmandu and attended seminar of ciip,met with friend uncertain.Today we are going to prepare MAP-my action plan in canada.For 1st time in nepal,we got such a beneficial program(for newcomers) of govt. of canada.thanks ciip.wish all for visa.
