Congrats Amro,

I am very happy for you. London has started looking back at Calander .... I wish they knew July comes before August, which in turn comes before Sept, which in turn comes before Oct... :P :P..... instead of Nov. Dec. Feb 2011 ... Sept 2010, Aug 2010... and so on..... :o :o
Maybe they are just piling up the applications and start always from the top. This is how careless employees usually do their job.

What's really annoying about London is that when people have emailed them asking why they are processing so out of turn, they reply back saying stop whining, we are processing in strict chronological order (which they are clearly not!!!).

Wayne.
maybe we are getting punished for asking, or even worse, getting punished for applying too early :(((
Crazy thoughts I know, but what else can explain it?

It just escapes me as to why some VOs are so extremely slow. It just does not make sense that they are working with a different set of direction. It’s quite a disgrace that many of the July to September 2010, and for that matter until December 2010, applicants have still not progress beyond PER (and some not even that)! Hopefully things would progress well before any new set of Ministerial Instruction is issued at the expense of the post 25 June 2010 cohort. It would be a crying shame if that happens. Buffalo seems to be the worst and extremely constipated.

I called my bank yesterday to enquire if my RPRF has been cashed. They promised to set a case enquiry for me and call back as soon as they know the status.
Someone just called me from the bank (Barclays)to confirm that it has not been cashed.
It seems nothing is going on in my case as CHC London is waiting for my new baby to arrive and send in his application.
I won't wait for too long as my wife is due towards end of the month.
Hopefully, the wheel will start rolling again from next month.
Best wishes to everyone in this new month.

Shalom

Our draft wasn't cashed when I checked last Friday (27th May), it arrived at CHC on 16th May.

I am going to try phoning each Friday so I will check on 3rd June, although Monday was a bank holiday here in the UK so I am not holding my breath.

I presume there will not send passport requests until the bank draft has been cashed and cleared at their end?

Wayne.

Congrats Indira, Ashisvet, Trailends for your success

All the best for your new begining in Canada

With London the annoyance is not so much the speed, but the order they are processing the applications.

We have January 2011 applicants with medical requests, and July 2010 applicants not even in process yet!

And CHC London laughingly insists that everything is being processsed in a strict chronological order.

Wayne.

Hi wayne, its not only who are processing out of turn. It seems almost all the vo's are processing out of turn including new delhi. I know new delhi is much faster than other vo but surely even they r not following a set pattern. Aaycee and myself are the earliest ones on the nd spreadsheet whose rprf is encashed. Pps submitted much after ours and rprf encashed more than a month after ours are almost there with the visa in hand.

It seems policy makers at the top are not in sync with the ground reality and the staff at the consulate are singing their tunes.
It sucks. All the effort to speed up the pr visa process is not really working. Year after year when new noc list out the earlier ones will become backlog.

Hey guys,

My Ecas status is stuck at "In Process" since March 20th. I have not received medical request yet and quite concerned.

I sent case specific inquiry to ND visa office but did not get any response. They don't accept telephone inquiries so I faxed them a letter to check the status. No response to that either. I will call CIC today but I know they will just ask me to contact ND office.

Any thoughts?
