We got decision made on ECAS. Unsure when this changed as i was sick and ooto for 10 days. Prab confirmed he saw In Process sometime last week though.

I really hope this is a good news :)

I thank all of you out here for your support and kindness.. I am now recovering from Enteric fever and was back from hospital yesterday. Feels great to see so many PMs of 'Take Care'.. This forum is so precious for me..

I wish all of us receive visas soon and fly into the next chapter of life together..

Congratulations!!!!!!!!
Does Mexico VO send the medical forms by mail?
Me and my family have been following your time-line and we are really happy for you.
Our best wishes.
Deby :D

Deby I received them by mail (correos de mexico) as John said.... I'm very surprise of your time line because your application was received in March by CIC and you already received the second AOR... Congratulations.

If I can help you please let me know and you can contact me by email.

My best wishes too to you and your family.

>J2010 will be processed as a higher priority than <J2010, pretty much globally across visa offices until Canadian parliament tell the visa offices otherwise.

Maybe after a few months >J2011 will get priority, but honestly there are so few >J2010 applications compared to <J2010 they probably will just finished all of the >J2010 and then move onto >J2011, treating <J2010 as a backlog now.

The good news for all "backlog" applicants is at least now the numbers of new FSW1 applications have been drammatically reduced, CIC will have resource to tackle the backlog.

Wayne.

IMHO, they will concentrate on a new quota post j2011 if one should come into force. The best thing for really old applicants is to file another parallel application, should their NOC still be listed.

I also think they're (CIC) in a right mess, with a incredibly large number of people in their backlog and the labour / immigration ministry de recognizing their NOCs as urgently required.

Whatever the case, at least an official clarification to address concerns of all should be announced or maybe a helpline that provides specific answers instead of generic ones.

Cheers,
Rahul.

congratulations!
we are here to welcome you!

Sorry I couldn't respond much yesterday but it was one of the busiest days I've had in quite a while. So I'll get to it now.

Cam- Its just like Wayne said, I had to take my original passports, 2 passport sized photographs and the forms that were sent by the VO. They took a copy of my passport and returned the original immediately after. Trust me, this will be the easiest part of the process (unless you're scared of needles!).

Piooni, the medicals will arrive by standard post in about 9-10 days in the gulf.

Anil, you are right, after all of this when I get my Canadian PR visa, I will honestly be able to say that I paid for it with my blood, sweat and tears! Secondly, I know that Hasib is our resident psychic but you just took it to a whole new level. You congratulated Doal before his post!!!

Hearty congratulations to John, Ghaani, Chetana and Doal. All the best for the future processes.

Entamaria, I would have loved to go pig out at Wendy's but I was a little too busy yesterday. Other than my healthy breakfast of weetabix in the morning, I only managed to grab 3 digestive biscuits all day. I hope to make up for it today!!! Need to get back my gallon of blood!

I hate needles (usually pass out or thrown up or both!). Strangely I don't mind blood+guts it's just needles I hate.

Anyway when we did our medicals I had my blood test first to get it out of the way (managed not to thrown up or faint). But then when they'd said they'd lost my blood sample you can imagine how annoyed I was that I thought I might have to drive up there again and get the tests done again!

Hi,
like I told some other applicants before...
...don't worry!
If your file needs some extra review for whatever reason, it can take longer then 30-40 days.
Me and some other applicants are waiting for over 130 days now, we don't know the reason why but we TRY to stay calm and patience.....even when it's driving us crazy!
So, hang in there, you'll get the answer......when you get it!

Kind regards,
Louise!
