Mari,

That's for pre-june applicants... Lets wait and see.. ::)

Yes. This is what I was thinking before. But see what's happening now. All Pre-June applicants received their 1st file number after 2 months from Sydney. For us it took 4 months to issue the file number. They got their 2nd file number 3 months after their 1st file number. For us still nothing after 6 months. I'm afraid our processing time is gonna be longer than their time!!!!! OMG. I try to stay positive but I can't think about it anymore.

>J2010 will be processed as a higher priority than <J2010, pretty much globally across visa offices until Canadian parliament tell the visa offices otherwise.

Maybe after a few months >J2011 will get priority, but honestly there are so few >J2010 applications compared to <J2010 they probably will just finished all of the >J2010 and then move onto >J2011, treating <J2010 as a backlog now.

The good news for all "backlog" applicants is at least now the numbers of new FSW1 applications have been drammatically reduced, CIC will have resource to tackle the backlog.

Thanks for your positive words. Sometimes waiting so long gets so frustrating for us. And that's nice we support each other in this forum. I hope FSW2 get priority too. I live in Canada right now, but waiting and renewing my work permit every year is not easy. For having a stable life I need to make sure I will stay here and don't have to leave again.

For me I prefer to pay in Canadian Dollars Bank Dreaft as :
I will know of BD ment and feel some progress.
I will avoid asking for more money if the currency rate changes.
Thanks
best of luck architect

Hello Members,

I am asking a late question. But please bear with me.

I sent a letter to Cairo VO by DHL informing them of the new baby on 16th of May.

Will there be any kind of difference if I also send a case specific inquiry ? Is it a more powerful tool of communication ?

Magdy
15 days have passed. If I were you I will send an email too
God protect the new baby

Yes, that is my concern, that in a few months post June 2011 applicants will become priority to post June 2010 applicants... then who knows what the time line for us will be. Seriously, what a mess!! All these people being treated differently (pre 2008, post 2008, post 2010, and now post 2011), while each individual filled out the same application and paid the same fee. There must be a better way than this bouillabaisse.

Nothing is getting better for Buffalo, they have to shut down for a week to catch up with regular visas, FSW time line for pre June 2010 goes from 17 to 19 months... If this was a battle, these people would have surrendered already :) Joking aside, it's plain unjust.

Congrats to Alshami and John!!

Hasib, where are you :o :o :o :o. You are a hell of a fortune teller! I thank you for your prediction 8).

We got decision made on ECAS. Unsure when this changed as i was sick and ooto for 10 days. Prab confirmed he saw In Process sometime last week though.

I really hope this is a good news :)

I thank all of you out here for your support and kindness.. I am now recovering from Enteric fever and was back from hospital yesterday. Feels great to see so many PMs of 'Take Care'.. This forum is so precious for me..

I wish all of us receive visas soon and fly into the next chapter of life together..

I am not returning to Chennai, until mid - June, so Prab has to courier me the visas and passports once he receives them.

Thanks to Shadab for posting the good news on his thread earlier :)

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
Welcome back Indra
I am happy for your recovery
congratulation
enjoy your time

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the wishes, I truly appreciate them.

Congratulations to Al Shami, I hope the rest of the process speeds through for you to help you catch up.

My medicals went fine, they took (in my opinion) a gallon of blood and the rest of the usuals. They said they'd send it in 4-5 working days and would send me an email with a tracking number for the courier. All in all, it was simplest part of this process so far.

All the best to everyone waiting. :)

That's great Wendy,
Now it is a wait for passport request...!! Good luck.

Finally I can ask admins to change the unsightly white colour row to blue .
Finally Im really in the race of Canada PR application marathon.
Finally I can feel with happiness by some way of progress.
Finally I received my PER .

My PER is considered one of the most difficult PER in this forum. Because I was suffered a lot to catch up.
I sent my first application since 25th of june 2010 to my consultant ,But my consultant was took couple of days to reviewed and quality control my application. As aresult ,This few days caused to me to re-apply after the new pre-26 june rules . :-\ :'(
Then,I started to collect all documents supposrt,IELTS...etc,and I sent my application again to CIO in 5th of oct 2011 :'( :'(.But,Unfourtunatly,in 20th of january 2011 I received the shocked request to submit the IELTS GT instead of IELTS academic. So ,I spent much time (about 4 months )to re-set the IELTS GT exam to get the same points to get the pass mark.Whith out doubt this situation was put me under stress .Therefore I spent much time and efforts to reach my pass mark points by submit more documents ,So I also complete and submit my master of MBA in order to get more points.

Lastly,I sent my attached document before one day of dead line,And .......you know ....my friend .....the end of this long story.....
I got the champion PER .

So,now this is the celebration time.Definitly,I cant forget in this wondrful moments all my brothers and friend who support and advice me to keep going on this.and I want to send special thanks for: Hazem Canady ,Amr Moori,Magdi,Cairo,Amro alsaid,Engy,Wayne capptiono ,ahmed saif and all my brothers those I may forget.

Thanks again for all.

Alshami

Finally, congratulations Alshami!

EmmaJ,
Any update about your case? Is medical reflecting in your ecas? Is your RPRF draft cashed?
I called the international dept of my bank today and they promised to get back to me to know the status of the draft. I hope it is cashed already.
Best wishes.
