Thank you for quick response, i am trying to recheck all documents are correct before i reapply which i am planning to send by Tuesday as the mail service opens. Could you please tell me where exactly did u read it. I have mentioned she had worked for a year in the declaration background form but not able to get the experience letter this time. Only thing is that i have a copy of last time submitted experience letter. So please suggest and share ur views
Hai string
I also had the same problem. I am the principal applicant and i am here in canada since 2009. I didnot send orginal experience certificates as it was hard for me to get everything from back home. So i send a notarized copy of the experience letter with a letter of explanation.
Just sharing my experience....................it's up to you

String11 i think what they look for is 1 year of work. As long as u can prove it by a good detailed letter... its good enough.

Just mention in the cover letter what u r not sending and why. Let them know if you r having difficulty getting more letters.

Dear String.

I think I agree with Ane with sending the same experience letter again and add a note to that. If you check the buffalo documents check list you will see there are several methods to repalce an original experience for principal applicant ... certainly it will be admissible for co applicant if you can reason it out properly in a cover letter. If there is some discrepancy in documents, a cover letter will do good. I have seen an Ottawa Immigration lawyer ( Julie Taub ) doing this in one of her client's file.

again ..

Write a cover letter with proper documentation for resubmission. You have toimpress the Visa officer. :)

thanks

You are absolutely right Ane,

When Principal Applicant can prove her/his experience provide a written explanation and any documentation (i.e. employment contracts, work descriptions, performance appraisals describing job duties) that would support your claim to such employment and provide the information ............ the coapplicant also can do it by a written explanation.

Read the BUFFALO VO check list... string...

WORK EXPERIENCE
For the principal applicant:
•original and up-to-date letters of reference from your past and current employers for the past 10 years.
Letters must be:
•written on company letterhead,
•signed by the responsible officer/supervisor,
•show the company's full address, telephone and fax numbers, email and website addresses, and
•stamped with the company's official seal (if applicable).
Letters must include all of the following information:
•the specific period of your employment with the company
•the positions you have held during the period of employment and the time spent in each position
•full details of your main responsibilities and duties in each position
•your total annual salary plus benefits
•the number of hours worked per week
•a business card of the person signing
If you cannot provide a reference from an employer, provide a written explanation and any documentation (i.e. employment contracts, work descriptions, performance appraisals describing job duties) that would support your claim to such employment and provide the information as set forth above.
For the accompanying spouse or common-law partner:
•original and up-to-date letters of reference, including all details as specified above, in respect of any employment in Canada under a work permit.
•a copy of the work permit.

thanks Ane

I have news!!!

I just received my medical requests! They are dated 18/May/2011 and they've asked for updated IMM008s, Sched 1s, Meds, RPRF and updated PCCs. The PCC however is only from my current country of residence. Ooooooooohhhhhhh boy! Now I'm excited! Have to start the run around tomorrow to get everything sorted out as soon as possible.

All the best everyone! :D

Congratulations Wendy.. and all the best for further process..

Hi Everyone,

After a brief hiatus, I am back and have had the pleasure of going through 60 odd pages. There have been more reasons for celebrations and a couple of commiserations and then one reversal from negative to positive. So all in all a positive news for most.

Till now nothing to report on my front. Sent NDVO a case specific enquiry because my E-Cas status was as confusing as ever. Maybe a few weeks will pass before I hear from them.

Well . thats it for now.... more if and when I hear some news.

Cheers
