Really? Cold or Cough can influence your medical report? Well, I have flu since last week, and my medical is next week. Another thing to worry about. :( :( :(

Rest & drink lots of water, and you should recover in time. Let Dr know you just recovered from flu. Best thing to do is, do not worry!

Good Luck

Double check the dates you sent on your original travel history. Ensure that they match your passport stamps/dates given in your personal history since 18, etc. If you find any inaccuracies, correct the page and write a cover letter explaining the error. If you have not traveled since submitting your application and the whole document is accurate, reprint your original, perhaps with a comment "Reviewed. Accurate and up to date as at ----(today's date), Signed....."

In a word, NO!
We got RBVO a fortnight before you and are still waiting......... :(

No news for us and now 5 months since PER, 8 and a half months since application submitted.
My husband and me are separately becoming so demoralised.
We are currently renewing my husband's LMO and that will make sure that he can get a new TWP when this one runs out, meaning he can stay for another year at least.
I am going to move across to Canada a soon as this is approved. It will be a risk, going over without PR yet, but we can no longer bear to be apart and must put an end to this sad separation.
Life is too short to spend any more time without each other.
I regret that this unfair processing procedure has brought us to this when we were trying to be careful and make sensible decisions all through this process.
We are still RBVO today.

Good for you, my heart goes out to the two of you!!! :-*

Kind regards,
Louise!

Guys, I...g..o...t... my...PER! 25th of May! :P

Awesome! :)

Please update my sheet info!

Just one question: I get an error when trying to access CAS on CIC website. I tried with the receipt number and file number and all I got was an error like "the receipt number starts with a B and has x numbers..." Mine doesn't. Oh well, let me enjoy my long awaited PER! eheheh

CONGRATS rfpa!!!
Another november applicants who got ( finally some) great news from CIO!!!
And one member less to our "white lined club".... ;)
Hopefully the december applicants will get the answer soon too!

Kind regards,
Louise!

Not much happening at all at CHC London at the minute. My observation is that when things move they do so in a flurry, so as soon as someone starts reporting they've woken up again I have high hopes you will be in process!

Since there are 4 months between our applications, and using simple logic, you can expect your ecas status to turn In Process 4 months after mine turns. Mine is still RBVO.
But don't worry, London VO doesn't use logic at all.

I think London are now taking discourtesy to an extreme.

They say they are processing applications in the strict chronological order in which they arrived. That is clearly not the case. And when people try to ask them about the discrepancy they simply reply with cut+paste spiel.

I accept some applications will take much longer to process than others, owing to more complex background and security checks etc, but all applications should at least be going IN PROCESS in the order in which they arrive.

We have July applicants such as yourself asaif who are not in process yet, and also August and September applicants such as Queencougar.

Yet looking at the spreadsheet for London we have a January 18th 2011 applicant (pzohaib_uddin) who is already "In Process", and November 22nd 2010 applicant (EmmaJ) who has already received medical requests.

Why are January 2011 applicants being placed "In Process" whilst July/August/September 2010 applicants are still waiting? CHC London are going against their own policies stated on their website since they are NOT processing these applications in the strict order they arrive.

We feel very lucky to have gotten medical requests, and feel utmost sympathy for the July/August/September applicants who are still waiting to be looked at.

The problem is that, as Queencougar has already mentioned, CHC hold all the cards. They leave you no realistic channel to find out what's going on and to complain. Any query just gets responded to with irrelevant standard wording, if you're lucky enough to get a reply at all!

So all I can do is keep my fingers crossed that something speeds up soon for these earlier applicants.

Wayne.
