Finaly I have got my passport back :D Stamped with an immigrant visa valid till date of expirey of the medicals
They have also included a CPR i.e Confirmation of Permanent Residence which is a document showing my details and holding one photo of me ;)

They have clearly mentioned to have the visa and the CPR document with me when I land. They advised to accompany birth certificate ,school and university transcipts with me as supporting documents. Also they have given some links to read to help with working, housing and landing. Obviously, they have returned some documents that I intially sent to CIO like the university transcipt and the birth certificate translated and reference letters of employers. However they have kept the contracts and the IELTS certificate.

Wishing all of you the best with your Visas ;D ;D ;D
congratulations & best wishes for the new life in canada :) :) :)

OK TIRED OF WAITING SAME OLD INPROCESS SINCE 24TH FEB
Question to all forum member
In the AOR they say "If you don't hear from us for 6 months, you are requested to contact VO"
My Question is regarding that 6 months (from which date). Date of receiving at SYDNEY or PER or AOR???
Thanks

Amar, my guess is 6 months since the AOR from VO ??? I bet you'll hear from them before that :P

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Ohhhhhhhh Morrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiii !!!!!!!!!
You can find some Peace :)

Congratulations dear friend, its good that they have returned the reference letters and documents so that you can use them in getting your qualifications recognized in Canada, when my turn comes (ISA :)) I will ask them for the contracts also because I sent originals if they didn't return them back.

Congratulations again Amr ... Where are you landing ? and When ? Please share your experience of finding a place to live, finding a job, etc ...

We will also need you to tell us about the cost of living when you get there, so keep in touch :)

Never meant to be using you that much my friend :)

I am just happy for you :)

Question:

I wonder, where is Indira, Where is Anil???? >:(
Do they think, they have almost got the Visa so they can leave us?
EnvioZA said:
Hi Hasib,
I guess they are around and will join us soon.
Probably just preparing themselves for coming trip to Canada.

I hope we will keep in touch through this thread or by others means ( facebook, skype, email etc ) even after we land in Canada. Great friends of this post-june thread with various expertise can help out each other in a new country to live and thrive.

God bless us all.

Not sure, just busy getting things ready I guess. It doesn't mean they have "left us"! :)

I am fully intending to stay active on this forum and help people after we have got our visa, as people helped us. But I probably won't have time to sort the spreadsheet out anymore once we move onto the next system on 1st July 2011 - hopefully we can have champions within the new applicants who can take charge.

Friends :) It feels great to be missed here 8) 8)

As already indicated, I'm taking time off at mom's place :) after the enormous task of sending the passports to the VO :)

That has been the trend with the ND applicants lately :)

I'll try to be online as much as i can, but please excuse my absence until June 1st week.

Having a new born@home is exciting as well as tiring :o :o

Update: RPRF encashment not confirmed yet. ECAS all the same :P

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
