Dear Ira,

here is a copy of my ecas :

We received your application for permanent residence on February 22, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 29, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 5, 2011.

I have applied trough a lawyer in immigration, based in Canada. My VO is Rabat, Morocco. So the file was transfered from CIO to Rabat VO.

It is possible I have made some confusions interpreting my process dates.

Please let me know...

BR

John

Hi John,

thanks for clarifying this! Yes, I think you mixed up your dates, but I changed them so it is all updated now.

Just make sure you change them in your profile so that info under your username doesn't confuse people...

Congrats for going IN PROCESS :)

Any new news from Singapore VO?

Yeah :( No idea what's going on there, everything seems so random.

The first people to get medical requests were October applicants, and some July applicants have not even gone In Process yet. Can't believe they actually replied to you saying everything was being done in a strict date order!!!!!

Wayne.

Hi Cappuccino,
Yes, there is no such thing like first in first out. That is the reason, why i really hate the immigration officers, they tell lies like little children. I remember, when i was a little child, sometimes i steal sugar and eat. When my mum ask me i will refuse, when she can even see the particles of sugar around my lips. :) :) :)

These are the kind of white lies they are telling the applicants. They should just say the truth and we will wait for the time , they would like to process the applications. If i know approximately when my application will be processed, it will help me to make other plans and wait for that time. My money is in the account and thanks God that i deposited my funds in an investments account, if not i would have been wasting this money.

Well, we know they are telling lies and we can not do anything. They have they yam and the knife and they can cut the quantity they want. We have just nothing to do, apart from grumbling around the forum. :P :P :P

Waiting and life continues even outside of Canada.

BREAKING NEWS

Well, kinda :)

Ok the muppets at the post office phoned me again. Turns out my package never ever LEFT the local post office that I'd handed it in to for Special Delivery.

They offered me 9am delivery but I said I would rather have a full refund - so going to mail them docs by Fedex or DHL tomorrow morning so should get there by Monday.

Kinda relieved, kinda still mad as hell with Royal Mail - especially with their policy where you have to wait 10 days (baring in mind this is a 24 hour guaranteed delivery) before you can claim compensation back on the docs!

Anyway we're back on track- just delayed by a few days! ;)

Wayne.
good news wayne
wish you the best

It looks like Buffalo is issuing medical based on NOC. Both of our friend spicejet and wsfp5 NOC is 1122, whose medical was issued last 2 week. It is not based on the day they receive our application.

Keeping my finger crossed. ??? ??? ???

Hi cforcanada:

I don't think so, if I remember correctly both said they have simple, straight forward, applications. wsfp5 mentioned he had been in the US for a longtime, is unmarried, and has been to Universities in the States.

I think it has to do with how complicated your application is; the number of countries you have lived in, how big your family is, etc... It is only logical, the more complex an application, the more time needed to verify...

Just my 2 cents,
Cam

I know you mean well, but we keep going round in circles on this point, Cam1234. Many people have suggested complexity of applications is the key to the processing conundrum.
Can it be that our application, which is not only Cat 2 with my husband actually working in Canada for the past 8 months on LMO and TWP and so very easily verifiable, but which is from a life-long UK resident who has only had a handful of travels anywhere and only ONCE outside Europe and that was to Canada, which includes only his wife of 16 years (similarly UK born and bred and similarly travelled), who both have only UK qualifications from major universities and no convictions and whose documents were all either original or legally notarised copies as requested and who have between them at least 87 points is considered complicated by London VO?
Logic, I am afraid does not come into this at all, or we would have been one of the first to receive PER and to be processed at the VO.
It is totally illogical.

see my timeline. stuck at Buffalo. :'(

With respect, huhoou, you did not file until around 4 months after both us (London) and some Buffalo applicants such as CanadaJimmy and we are all still waiting..... There are even longer waits for some before us who applied in July and August.
This is why it is illogical when we see PER after 4 weeks for some (instead of 4 months!) and Med Requests and even PR Visas for some in less time than we have been waiting so far.
We are all happy to see others making progress but wish it was us, too.
