HOBSON'S CHOICE!!!!!!!! 8)
My partner is away and I am between rubbish and more rubbish.
Only thing that is left is my partner's support!!
And our support ;D
Our applications are wallowing in a mire of London and Buffalo rubbish ;)
It seems we are both making liars of the claim that Category 2 applicants are processed as priority.
We are on opposite sides of this - you are the Canadian worker, but I am the supporting Spouse. Both sides need the support and love of their partner through this. I hope I am giving my husband as much support as your Spouse is giving to you through this long process and the separation. :D

Hi vipan
It comes via normal post. U can find its stand. Contain on this thread.

hi mayank,

2nd AOR comes by post or by email, and what it contain.. can you please share.

Now nearly 4 months for us since PER (24th January) and it took us 4 months and 2 weeks to get that from our date of application receipt, so we are now over 35 weeks into this and not yet even showing IN PROCESS and no sign of Medical Requests. :(
London sucks!

Yeah :( No idea what's going on there, everything seems so random.

The first people to get medical requests were October applicants, and some July applicants have not even gone In Process yet. Can't believe they actually replied to you saying everything was being done in a strict date order!!!!!

Hello friends,

I am looking for advise form senior members as even after the laps of 5 months I haven't received PER. I sent my application under NOC Code 3112 on Decemebr 1,2010, which as per DHL tracking record delivered at CIO in Helifax on December 7, 2010. The Demand Draft attached with the application was in-cashed on December 20, 2010 as per Bank record.

I am quite worried now as I am not getting any clue and have no idea how to track my application. How could I approach CIO, is there any email address where I can send my enquiry?

will highly appreciate advise of senior members in this regard.

Thanks & Best Regards, :(

Sent CIO an email (FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca) asking the status of your application. After 5 months the likliest is that they already mailed you as to whether or not your application passed the CIO eligibility review, but it may have ended up in your junk folder in your email.

Either way, CIO should be able to tell you if you passed and if your application was sent to the visa office.

Best of luck.
Wayne.

Dear Wayne,

Thank you for your advise and sending the email address.

Regards,

it should be from the day we file at cio

Welcome to the thread crunchytomato :) You made me soooo hungry now :D

Best of luck with the coming ;)

You can use this form too: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/csu.asp

In case their reply is not clear or asking you to wait, do call them for your application & get ready to be on the international call for 30-45 mins. Good Luck!

Buffalo Applicants,

A little ray of hope that Buffalo is aware that post june 26 gets priority... Not that it means much as I chew my nails thinking that June is around the corner and I am concerned that we might become a multi year process if we dont get Medical requests prior the new NOC list and new laws (if any) take effect.... Anyways just wanted to share this

This sounds promising if they really stick with it... but we have to stay positive :)

Thanks for sharing this!

~Ira

It looks like Buffalo is issuing medical based on NOC. Both of our friend spicejet and wsfp5 NOC is 1122, whose medical was issued last 2 week. It is not based on the day they receive our application.

Keeping my finger crossed. ??? ??? ???
