please update my status

2AOR date: 20 april 2011

ecase: RBVO

Updated and congrats :)

Several people already asked for this... but it would be very helpful if everyone would add info to their profile- VO, dates, etc so it is listed under username.
It is much easier to locate people on the spread sheet when we have more info...and it would be faster and easier for admins to update the spreadsheet

Did they use the other self-addressed label that you included with your application? (Our medical requests came via Royal Mail using that label so I am guessing they will use the other one for PPR?).

We will be going to London in person to deliver the passports and collecting 2 weeks later, as soon as we get our requests (hoping for early June, so potentially could have the visa for end of June!). Getting exciting/scary now! :)

Wayne.

Well the address was hand written (very bad writing) but who cares :p lolxx.... so they did not use the second sticker.. they might lost it, so careless of them lolxxxxx >:( ;D

In the letter the have mentioned 4 methods to deliver my passports.. which were to use courier, post, drop box, and In person ,,, for the first three option they have mentioned 6 weeks to get my passport back but for the IN PERSON they have written that you should collect your passport back on the 2nd thursday as thursday is the only day to drop and collect... So IMO "IN PERSON" is a good option and you guys dont have to worry as ill be the first to use and abuse the IN PERSON METHOD ..

WAYNE, as you know we had hundreds of Bank holidays and others so IMO you will get PPR sooner then mine... lets say first week of JUNE provided you send your docs before this weekend...

WOHOOOO and Thanks for everyone congratulating me, i wish everyone the "Early PPR" and "cheap flights" to CANADA ..."OUR HOME" :P

Eh... The forum is in an open tab in my browser by default. Same with the login to the ecas. So, whenever the Safari's on, you'll find me here or at my CIC office :)

Yeah, it's been a quiet week on the visa issue but busy with other activities. Thank God I am busy. Otherwise, it would have been pretty boring.

Right folks, am off to bed. Got a long day tomorrow. Look forward to read some good news soon from everybody on the thread.

I do have shomeone in Canada, but how can we order CAIPS notes ?
Krokro

If you are living in Canada you can order your own CAIPS notes for free under the Privacy Act. if you don't live in Canada, someone living in Canada can do it for you (with your authorization):
1) Go the site

fill in the firm with the required details i.e.:

a) Visa post (e.g. Buffalo, NY etc.)
b) File number (e.g. BXXXX..)
c) Date of Birth
d) Your Postal address (In Canada address only)

2) Check on the box for the CAIPS notes request in the form.

3)Provide a photocopy of your valid permit/visa in Canada (Person requesting).

4) Write a cover letter requesting the notes (Person who requests writes that).

Post all the papers together to :

Anil, my sympathy to you. I know the feeling of waiting at last stage. But don't worry by the time you send back passports your security and background checks will be over and you will receive back passports ofcourse with maple leaf very soon.
Anil, could you tell us whether you received back passports by normal post or by registered one. Was there any communication through e-mail ?

All the best to you friend,

I remember a small quote " When you speak the truth, you don't have to remember anything ". So no agni pariksha, just answer truthfully each question you are asked. Don't be in a hurry to bounce your answer back at the VO, take a few seconds to formulate the ansewer in your mind before you speak. That little delay will be more than compensated by your good answers. They not only hear you, they see you too. So be comfortable, confident and open. Body language is noted and throws its weight in visa interviews.

Best of luck once again.

Royalman

Hi Mikey2010,

I had gone with the same photos I pasted in the visa application which was more than 7 months old.

No need to worry unless your physic has under gone a dramatic change :P :P

All the best for your medicals, God Bless you.

Indira, Anil, Bindu, anyone else who has done medicals please advise

Should the photos required for submission to the DMP be current or is it okay to use the photos we had submitted along with our application which is now more than 7 months old?
