My time line is very similar...I sent my application on the Dec 15 2010 and received AOR/PER on March 9th. My visa office is Port of Spain Trinidad. I have not received any AOR from my visa office and my ECAS status still reads " CIO-S Eligibilty Review Complete". I am worried because its been 2 months and according to ECAS my application has not reached my Visa office as yet.

We have a similar situation, my e-cas doesn't show file reveived by VO. I was given PER on 21st march, 2011 and it is a month and 20 days. My visa office is Nairobi, Kenya. I am thinking of sending a case specific inquiry both to the VO and CIO after this week.

danishsoomro, Congrats, That is great news. You are the first London guy to reach the last hurdle. James1, who got the MR with you is absent from the forum for a while. It will be good to hear from him too. So you got PP request about 1 month after your PCC reached VO. Thats the bar set now. Let us see if London remains consistent with it.

Dear architect,
Cairo VO sends an email informing the applicant that he will receive his medical request via DHL within a week.They inform you with the dhl tracking number.So you do not get your MR by post at all.For the Ecas, I think it is case specific.Most Cairo VO applicants have their e cas changed to in process in the same day they get MR email. But Om saif and I had our ecase changed to in process 15 days befoer we got our MR request.

I agree with Engy that medicals will be sent by DHL courier service so no worries about losing or missing it However I was not informed about medicals by email or even have been given a tracking number for medical package. Cairo VO called me from their local phone number a day before sending medicals informing me that they are going to send it today and the same happened for the passport request, Just by phone call as well. No letter or email asking for passport but a sweet telephone call from the embassy known landline

Well it was sent on 9th may, received 10th may .. Via Royal Mail (national postal service in UK) using 1st Class postage... i didnt get any email..

They just send me the Immigrant visa at home with instruction saying " PLEASE STICK ON YOUR PASSPORT WITH GLU" ;D i know few of you might beleive it SO I M KIDDING...

BUT BUT BUT...

i have got the passport request from London visa office... 45 days time given.. i have to submit my passport along with 2 pics and update information form
letter dated 9th May received today the 10th.... i think this is the first PPR for London VO for pj26.... am i right??

I am going to paris by 26th so i might submit my passport IN PERSON AT VISA OFFICE by 1st june, so that i can collect it from the same office right after 2 weeks.... I am too much happy... i think i made it still thinking until i see the visa sticker..

medical reached vo = 30th March
RPRF & PCC reached vo = 7th April
PPR request = 10th May

Our medical results eached CHC on 28th April, and we are sending RPRF tomorrow (when we are assured by APCO that my wife's PCC will be here!).

So this means we could/should be looking at early June for our PPR?

Did they use the other self-addressed label that you included with your application? (Our medical requests came via Royal Mail using that label so I am guessing they will use the other one for PPR?).

We will be going to London in person to deliver the passports and collecting 2 weeks later, as soon as we get our requests (hoping for early June, so potentially could have the visa for end of June!). Getting exciting/scary now!

Wayne, I had enclosed 4 stickers of my name and address in my application to CIO but the MR+PCC request letter did not carry my labels. That had a new one printed.

Dear VO cairo applicants, I received my PER on march 9th, the last update for ecas on april 30th was recieved by Visa Office. starting sunday may 1st, i cant access my ecas.... I sent a mail to the embassy but didnt receive yet any reply.... what is your opinion?????????????? thanks

I believe e-cass should not be considered as a serious case reflection. However, I would not mind to send cairo VO an email to enquire about it.
