I am really losing hope to get MR, PPR....ND VO is not replying to specific queries of exceptional delay in sending MR, PPR...I had thought of starting canadian med licensing exam preparation...but now it seems futile to start prep, which is also very expensive ...
=========================
I was thinking of getting my job transferred to my hometown after getting done with medical exam ,visa issues etc...But now i can nt wait more...i have to get my job transferred asap to my native town...My correspondence address is already at my native town....Even then shud i inform ND VO about my job transfer or leave it as such...???

Till date i am not aware of any background/job checks by nd vo...

Or shud i wait few more months at my present job site for ND VO response...???

I think given the length of time you've been waiting in comparison to other applicants from your visa office who applied at the same time as you, and others who applied significantly later than you, it's reasonable to ask them what the delay is.

If you are having no luck with case-specific queries being answered, is it maybe possible to fax them? I have heard fax is the most effective way of getting a response since they can't hit the "delete" key like they can with an email or webform.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

Well, MR comes by post (snail mail) and not email. I am sure you check your post mail box everyday anyway.

Can someone share that black magic with me and pray I get my med request sooooooon :D.I know I will have to wait until our agent is informed first yet I still check ecas at least 3times a day. I think I'm going a little crazy so hopefully med request soon ;D. Goodluck to all who is awaiting to hear anything and well done to all who has had good news. :-*

Hello everyone,

We are part of the applicants who sent their request during christmas holidays and who have not received any PER/NER yet, except an ECAS status that says that a letter was sent to us on March 09 ...

I have a question to the seniors. Regarding the language points, My husband (main applicant) has sent the results of the TEF (French test) with the original application, and after we heard nothing from CIO we thought that maybe it was a points issue and my husband took the IELTS lately. We would like to know how we should send the IELTS test results and claim for any additional points to our request.

Thanks in advance !

Hi krokro,

I'll say go ahead and send the IELTS result with a covering letter. Did you claim additional points for English language in your initial application? Nevertheless, I doubt if our ongoing delay in getting PER/NER had anything to do with language test confirmation. From what we know, if there is any missing documentation on any point claimed on the application, the CIO simply does not award the applicant any mark for that section and if the total score as result is below 67, the applicant gets a NER and an email is sent straight away. In our cases, we have neither received a NER nor a PER.

After all our previous and ongoing queries with CIO, I have 2 theories: i) An officer had indeed completed our eligibility review (as indicated on ecas) but require a second opinion on some aspect of the scoring from a senior officer before a PER/NER is sent out. OR ii) The CIO as part of the internal control mechanism randomly selects some applications at the initial stage and go through thorough review which may involve verifications/authentication of the info/documents submitted.

Given the length of time some of us have been waiting, I am more inclined to think that the latter is the case rather than the former . Although CIO says the latter is done at VO level, I am thinking they might be doing some piloting with us to see how this might work out should the CIC decide to adopt the process. I hope for our sake that I am right.

It would at least be polite of the CIO to give us specific reasons why our applications are been held back rather than the generic "your application is currently under review .....blah.. blah" while recent applicants are getting PERs in less than 25 days.

Thanks 9J,

I think I am going to follow your advice and send the IELTS hoping this will help move things ahead a little bit.
I agree with your theories but the question is how come the dates that the ECAS gives about our 'Letter' is the same date as the one the other applicants received their PER? If ECAS was eroneous than how come it is correct for those who got their PER?

Well all this questioning will never end. Let's hope we get some good news soon ....

Take care !

Since they have sent the email on 9th of March, if it's a PER then there is no need to send the IELTS results, if it's NER your whole application should be on the way to your mailing adress, in that case no need to send the IELTS, so in both cases there is no need to send the IELTS results.
Since you are able to check e-cas I assume you have your client id, in that case:
Try to contact Paris consulate, send them a query that you changed you phone, and ask them to update your application and wait for their feedback. Other solution is to send a letter to CIO with your email adress and your file number and ask them to re-send the PER or NER.
Also, if you have somebody in Canada you can order the CAIPS notes for free, otherwise there are some agency who can order them for you for money.

Thank you marocain,
I sent an inquiry to Paris office and have heard nothing from them so far.

I do have shomeone in Canada, but how can we order CAIPS notes ?

Congratulations to all who had progress in thier applications , received MAPLE LEAF, PPR ,MR, wish you all the best
I have one question ::
Should it change first to IN PROCESS in the Ecas status then we can expect to get MR or some will have MR without this Ecas update???
my original file no was E00 then when received 2nd AOR another file B05 issued, and E00 still there and valid, which I'm still using it to check my E-cas status
thanks

Dear architect,
Cairo VO sends an email informing the applicant that he will receive his medical request via DHL within a week. They inform you with the dhl tracking number. So you do not get your MR by post at all.For the Ecas, I think it is case specific. Most Cairo VO applicants have their e cas changed to in process in the same day they get MR email. But Om saif and I had our ecase changed to in process 15 days befoer we got our MR request.
Wish you the best,
Engy
