Dear ND VO friends, Has anyone received any update on e-cas after submitting Passports ? today when i checked my e-cas , there is slight change in it. It is obviously In Process, but fourth line has been added in it. Fourth line added is "Medical results have been received". Pl. check your e-cas status and see whether there is any update.

Hello Silent,

We both are in the same boat, let's see how many more "In process" status holding applicants got this extra line added as fourth line in their status.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 5, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 10, 2011.

We have not submitted our passports yet ::), but we have that additional line 'Medical results have been received' :P :P

Update:

The passport office messed up once again >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(. We will wait until this evening for them to issue the PCC or get the passport back and approach the SHO.

Has someone got the PCC from SHO at all?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Dear Forum Members,

I am the Principal Applicant and in the final stages of preparing my application package and have thousands of doubts about each an every requirement, this may sound very silly to you all ,but would be very thankful if anybody can clarify my following queries:

1. Should we get all pages of the matriculation book notarized or
would the first page with the mark list page suffice?
2. Photographs – Should all the photos be enclosed in the same
envelope or should we keep enclose photos of each applicant in a
separate envelope?
3. Do the self addressed mailing labels have any standard specific
size?
4. I am not able to write the names in native language of all
family members as prescribed for the additional family information, so
when I add an additional sheet should all the information be given on
the additional sheet or can I write as just the name in English and
repeat the same in my native language on the additional sheet?
5. My spouse had done a one year course while he was employed, he
used to attend the class during weekends, when filling up the
background declaration form should I show the employment as well as the
education or just write about the employment?
6. My spouse does not have a birth certificate, and as a response to my query
to Delhi VO, I was advised to send matriculation certificate in the absence of a
birth certificate, now for this should I get the whole matriculation book notarized
or just the page with personal particulars suffice?
7. When I took the papers for notarization, the notary asked me whether
the notarized copy needs notary stamp worth Rs.50/- on it or just a simple
notarization with seal and declaration by the notary will do?
8. Which Courier service would you advise?

Please do respond to the queries as I would like to see my application package despatched by this weekend.

Thank you all in advance.

Got ours from the commissioners office, took 48 hours. Of Course, I sat there for a majority of those hours, goading them onwards.

There is no change in my ecas status. Still in process and still only reads 3 lines......started processing on 23rd Nov 2010. Its been more than 45 days now that we have submitted our passports. Received no further communication as well. SURPRISED

Hi Mayank,

I believe your case is still within the timelines and there are about 20 people ahead of you in the queue. I don't see a reason for you to worry at all.

Please wait for your turn.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Ok, interesting thing.

With out sending passports to VO the status ( Medical results have been received ) adding means, some bug issue. But few already sent the passports with medicals yet to add this line!!

ND VO ecase status interface might have designed by some Red chip Robo's :) :)

Thanks & Reg,
Krishna

Thanks Rahul :)

We can try SP office too, but we prefer SHO, as he knows us already and he did give the verification certificate for Prab for his passport application.

I already have my PCC from the passport office.

Let's see what the passport officer has to say this evening.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
