Congratulations LadyK on almost getting your passports and Congratulations to Nursemich for getting them. This is a brilliant start to the week and the month; and I hope good news keeps flowing through this thread. Now that ND and Manila have sent out their first visas I hope the other slow poke VOs will start a bit of a jog rather than crawling around aimlessly.

We received your application for permanent residence on September 13, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 5, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 10, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I just want to share these ever since I applied for immigration..

After 112 days that CIO received my application - PER

36 days after PER - 2nd AOR

2 days after 2nd AOR - Medical Request

28 days after Results were submitted - Passport Request

22 days after CEM received our passports -
VISA !!!!!!!


A total of 33 weeks and 5 days


I received our visas today in a long brown envelope with serialized tapes indicating my file number..

The envelope contains the following:

- Me and my husband's passport of course with the visa..I'm hugging and kissing it..hehe
- COPR
- Letter from CEM, 5 pages, included is PDOS info.
- All my documents that were submitted (all of my docs. except the aplication forms)
- Receipt of payments

DHL called me this morning and I went to their office to pick it up, here in my home town ofcourse, I paid them the corresponding fee

Secondly,

Today my ecase status having extra line that is " Medical results have been received".

Can any one with New Delhi VO too got this line added to the status, if so please let me know.
