If you get PCC from passport office ..they don`t put Photos on it.

Please note that 'They do put our picture on the PCC, a scanned version of the one you submit to the passport office, along with the PCC application'.

Aah! Well... That just means that Chennai Passport Office works differently than the New Delhi Passport Office as we don't get any kind of photo on the certificate which is provided as the PCC by the Passport Office.

Surprising that even Government Offices like Passport Offices work differently and we were blaming the DMPs for varying fees across cities.

Ok... that means - it's just the ND Passport Office which doesn't issue a PCC with a Photo of the applicant on it. : :-X

After a month of submitting all the docs including the passports, the only noticeable change in ecas is that my address has disappeared once again :-\

hmm i guess the VO's must have been relaxing during the easter week... :....

hopefully should be on full throttle soon ;D

At last, I received 2nd AOR from Taipei VO and ECAS status changed from "RBVO" to "IN PROCESS - Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 20, 2011."

Please update the spreadsheet. Thanks.

Received date of 2nd AOR: 21 April 2011 (by post)
Date of ECAS last updated: 24 April 2011 (I didn't check ECAS everyday.)
