By the way, i need your valuable input on something. Would any of you know if i can extend the 60 days deadline given to me by the VO. I need to submit the docs and do the medicals before June 14 but I am working abroad and my work will only permit me to leave for a vacation sometime in July/August. Would you know of any case that an extension was granted? If so, how do i go about it? Truly appreciate any help from you.

thank you katy for this information , so i will fill it and wait until they will ask for it. , should i write all travels even if that was for a few days or the ones with residency more than 6 months only ?

U should write all your travel history even if it has been for one single day. The departure and arrival dates, your destination and the purpose of the trip should be written in the form. You should also enclose the notarized copy of the respective pages of your new/old passport(s).

Oops, i wish this was a minor thing, that the VO wanted to reconfirm. BTW, did your DMP confirm everything was OK with your reports earlier when you completed the medicals?

Today received a letter from VO new delhi today stating that we have received ur file from CIO and also they have sent receipt of the fees $1100. Date is 14 April on letter. They had posted it on 19 April.
My E-case Status still RBVO.
Please update in tracker.

That seems to be Irony. you are in 3113 (dental) NOC and still no co-operation from the DMP.

Wait till the DMP requires an appointment he/she will not get a tooth"fairy" treatment for sure

and you seem to the only one to get additional check for medical....

yes, i think i am the only one and i hope no one else need it in future. And worst part is I really dont know what is wrong, because evrything was fine and none of my family members have any medical problems.

Dear Khashayar,

I'm so sorry to know about your mistake which has apparently put you under loads of stress. Just try to calm down. You really don't need to panic at this stage.

The only number available for applicants outside Canada is 001 613 944 4000 and the extension is 1-2-1-2-0 if I'm not mistaken. However for your case, regrettaby I don't believe it could be of much help since through this number you will reach the CIC office/Ottawa which has nothing to do with CIO/Sydney. Moreover, I believe your problem is sth you have to inform CIO about in writing and a telephone conversation will not work.

So, if you have already filled out the form in this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/csu.asp ,you could be hopeful that they are now aware of your problem. Still you can send them an email to this address FSW-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca (with no space before and after @ ) and explain your problem. After sending this email you will receive an automated response and you can be sure that your correct email address is now recorded somewhere in their system. As for the first form,although they mention that they won't reply before six weeks from submission,it's not always the case. For me myself-with some urgent problem-they replied before that so-called six weeks and were really hepful. You may rewrite to them when your six-week is over in case you haven't been contacted by then.

They might do that :, or skip it 8).. Looks like they just do the background verifications for a few applications. Be prepared
