Had stopped thinking about the application i applied and was on my busy schedule but......yesterday i had a call on my cell from two different nos. unfortunately i had to ignore it as i was at work. Later i realised it might be from CIO ..

Does anyone here in this forum get a call from CIO and if so what was the calling number please let me know...
those waiting for PER will be of help if CIO is really calling us to clarify the background check?? if they have any doubt in our application

If you know the numbers you can Google them and you will come to know who was these from.

Thanks
Wicky

Hi dear friends
@ Moori , many many congrats and all the best for your new life.

@ Engy I'm soooooooooo happy for you ,may God be with you in the rest of the process and HAPPY EASTER.

I'm pleased to tell you that I received my MEDICALS AND RPRF AND PCC yesterday by the date of 20th of April ,hope all goes well.

@ Magdy I wanted to ask you about the Nigerian police certificate did you get it and how because my husband has to get one too,and he is here in Egypt on a vacation .

Another question is that they gave me only one month for all this and the nigerian PCC will take more than that to get ,can I contact the VO and ask for an extension as these days there are a lot of troubles there politically ,and a state of emergency. So will the VO respond to that or is it impossible.

@ magdy, Moori or anyone who paid the fees I want to know how is it paid and what should I take with me ,did you pay in CITIBANK or by bank draft?

Lastly I want to thank you all for your cooperation ,and many congrats for all the good news . :)

THX Snow100 :)

As for the payment, I paid in citibank in alexandria the exact amount of 2, 550 egyptian pounds for each applicant as per the letter sent from the embassy. It was stated in the table the amount in canadian and its equivalent in egyptian pounds. You should take a copy of the letter with the table of payment with you to the bank as they will take that copy and attach it to the payment receipt. You will take the original reciept and you will be copying this receipt 4 copies. Keep one for you and send the other 3 to the embassy together with whatever papers they asked you to submit :)

Best of luck

Initially, I sent a complete file to the CIO. After PER, they asked me to deliver a duplicate of the file to the Cairo VO including a fresh PCC and Bank statement. That was all. They did not forward my file to Cairo.

Strange!
What if you were not able to make this dupicate fine ! Some papers are just hard to get !

Sure I will send my contact data

Hi snow!
The nigerian PCC can be done in less than a month. You just have to have someone there in lagos to do it for you ... The steps are: 1- obtain the forms (I can send them to you) 2- Print your fingers using black or blue ink 3- send the forms and passport copy including the visa pages and stamps of entry and exit by dhl or through someone to lagos (dont forget pesronal photos) 4- your friend will apply for it and after sometime (2 weeks) he will get it and send it back to you

I think if you ask for extension from the VO it will be possible but better to proceed fast with what i told you.

For the fees, just do as what Moori has told you (I didn't send the three copies with the reciept they can copy it if they want :))

I will PM you with my email

At your service,
Magdy
