Dear Indira and Anil & all New Delhi Vo applicant who received 2nd AOR / MR from New delhi VO ..

Does VO is using the addressed labels which we provided to them for sending 2nd AOR / Medical Request ?

As our 9th april RBVO group is getting 2nd AOR dated 14 april..but i am still waiting for it..

As in my e-cas i found in my address my district place is not there..but PinCOde is there...But in my PER email my district name is there..

Do you think that i need to inform them about it ?

Please let me know ...

Not sure about that. The official web site of immigration canada says that they may ask for the police certificate if they require!!! specially if the stay is in canada
SEE BELOW FROM CIC.GC.CA

Canada

Do I need to provide a police certificate when applying for permanent residence?
Only in certain cases. The Canadian visa office will tell you if you need a Canadian criminal record check while your application is being processed.

How and where do I obtain one?
If the visa office asks you to complete a criminal record check, visit the RCMP website for instructions.

That is when you are still staying in Canada while the application is being processed. But once you leave the country and have stayed for more than 6 months...things change. How ever, I am just informing the general procedure... it all depends on the visa officer who is working on the case whether to ask for one.

No. I think addressed lables are used by CIO when they return the application at the eligibility review phase.

My employers telephone numbers have changed, which I had forwarded in my employment referance letter. Please tell me do I need to inform Visa Office and if yes then How do I do that ?

Just a message for asaif, wenstumped and all the other early London applicants like us who aren't hearing anything.
We have just sent a case-specific e-mail to London asking what is happening and stating that we as Cat 2 are supposed to be processed within 6 months and are not yet even showing as IN PROCESS (despite receiving PER on 24th Jan and that was very late!).
However, now London are stating 28 DAYS response time for case specific enquiries, which is an increase of 8 days on what they were quoting previously.
I am sad to say that I do not think that this bodes well for us London applicants and suggests to me that somehow they are trying to fend people off who have a legitimate reason for querying their processing status and do not want to tell anyone what is going on. We are judging by what the VO website is quoting for timescale for Cat 2 applications and our status on ecas changed to RBVO early in March and so has been there for nearly two months with no change in status. Even the Cat 1 says only 13 months and we have already been waiting for 8 months to get to this stage.
Sorry to be bringing you bad news, everyone, but I would suggest that if you want to lodge a case specific enquiry you do not wait and get it is ASAP because I assume they are quoting working days and so it will likely be another month and more before that gets any response.
I feel London are being unfathomably unfair in whom they are choosing to process and I honestly can say that as well as having a job currently in Canada and having been checked out for that by HRSDC, we have one of the simplest and most straightforward applications anyone could wish for - just us two adults with buckets of points for education, age and experience, no kids, ex-spouses, convictions or any other impediments........ I just cannot see why our application is taking so long to get anywhere.
If we are being penalised for all the fraudulent job claims that have been made by other applicants in recent history, then it is a sad day for Canada that it is disadvantaging genuine applicants for the sake of all the cheats out there.

Very thought provoking queencougar! I too am unable to find the reason why they are delaying our cases although we have launched the applications earlier! I mean, we too have one of the most straight forward cases. We haven't even travelled outside our country before making the application. I don't know what's the reason for that.
One more thing, I have sent the case-specific enquiries 2 times in the last 3 months and they haven't even replied for once! Don't know what's going on there! Let's wait and hope for the best; that's all we can do btw :)

i want to ask khai ,mchowdhury because they were asked to submit GT IELTS IF THE LETTER FROM CIO TO SUBMIT IELTS AGAIN MENTIONED (after intial assessment of your application )means that ielts only is the proplem or they will assess the file again from the begining)i sent ielts 19 april ,please any member had passed this experience before ,give me more information

Hi Anil,

In my case I have stayed in canada for more than 6 months but CHC is yet to ask for the police certificate...

May be that's the reason I am "In Process" for 57 days...

Very well said queencougar ... I totally agree.
I'm quite sure that there is something fishy going on in London VO.
