Wish you good luck.

Dear arasah,
My e-cas says we reviewed and started processing your application from November 23 (my PER date) from the beginning to date. So it is not reliable in my case.

Hi Bindu & Bindu. Allam,

Thank you for your advice.
I have sent case enquiry, fax and postal mail to London VO yesterday (Tuesday) about my son's name that is wrongly spelt and about my wife's condition. I am waiting for their reply. I also sent our PCC applications to UK authority and Nigerian High Commission in London. I hope to have them within the next 2 weeks.

I called more DMPs and few others said that they do it maintaining that it is safe. I checked NHS (UK health service) website and they said that the risk is very low and its about 1:5000. However, the NHS said that there is no risk to the baby (disease, mental or physical deformity) but continuous exposure to X-ray by the mother could have some low risk. I will go by the advise of London VO. Meanwhile our medical is booked for May 7 (saturday).

Thank you and best wishes for you and family.

hi shalom
i am also on the same condition as you are... my wife is 6 and half month pregnant and if everything goes well i hope to see the medical request when she will be in 8 months of pregnancy.. we have also consulted doctors here in USA, and they told that it's ok to get Xrayed after the first trimester with proper safety measures and the radiation from the xrays during the test is equivalent to 3hrs of exposure to the sunlight in the beach. hope this will give you an additional discretionary approach.
wish you all the best for your processing..

Hi Yukon/Indira/Wayne

Thank you for your comments

And what would be the process for adding a new born to the application

Ajimon

Maybe they are unaware of the encashment or just a procedural delay. As a thumb rule NDVO encashes all fees paid against application (whether processing or RPRF) upon receipt (due to procedural delays the time period may vary between 5-20 days). As per OP-6 manual, RPRF can be paid anytime during the processing of the application. You can even pay it when you send it to CIO, Sydney. So their is no linking for the encashment to any stage of the process. It is just a routine clerical matter at the VO.
They process a refund if your application is unsuccessful.

Hi guys,
Just got back from my medicals and wanted to share our experience.

Wayne, our experience was quite different :)

We had the Height, Weight, Vision checks, blood tests, X-ray and the urinalysis done before meeting the DMP. The DMP just checked the BP and Heartbeat while we were asked to lay on the . She did not even care to tell us if the BP was normal(we knew it would be normal :P).

She just asked us about previous surgeries done. For Prab only, she asked if he had any BP or Diabetes issues earlier..

She asked us to fill out the Form B and C(which CHC has sent to her directly), with the occupation, names, date of births etc.,

We waited until the urinalysis results were OK, and that's it, we are told to leave :P

That's it we are gone!

We paid the fee for the tests separately@the counter and the DMP fee(for that physical examination) to her by cash.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Thank's Indira,

so as per your advise, i should re-issue PCC of me and my wife right now. is it not early ? if again it will expire then ? should i wait for my

medical and RPRF ?

Thank you

1. You would need to revise your main application form IMM0008, with the additional information of your child on the last page
2. You would need to add the dependent child info. on form IMM 5406, additional family information.
3. Pay the fees for child processing of Rs. 6560. RPRF is not required for dependent children.
4. Send a copy of the birth certificate of the child & of course the copies of the new Passport.
5. Thereafter upon completing the medicals for the child send the original passport.

That's it, you are then good to go !!

Please update the spreadsheet if anybody is online now who has access to edit the spreadsheet. I can see many updates available today in the forum..I just love to see the changes in spreadsheet :)
