Ok, going for these medicals tomorrow. Can I just double-check with people.

We need to take
1) Section A forms with our photos on that CHC sent us
2) 2 additional passport sized photos (number of photos differs from DMP to DMP I think)
3) Our passports
4) Details of any medication that we're on
5) Glasses

We don't need to send CHC any medical info or forms - this will go straight from the DMP to them? We just need to send CHC our RPRF, new PCCs and new Schedule 1s?

Did I miss anything? :)

Wayne.

Do not forget to take your medical request letter together with your documents when you go :) Best of luck Wayne !

I guess you are good to go with that Wayne.. All we took was the original medicals request letter from VO, Form As, 3 Photographs each, same photographs in digital format(to replace the negatives), original passports and photocopies of the bio data pages of the passports.

Good Luck..

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Hmm our passport photos were from a vending machine, so we don't have any negatives, digital or otherwise! We're taking 3 photos to be on the safe side (we used one of the block of 4 on our new PCCs).

Ours only asks for the passports to be taken, no photocopies of the bio pages? I guess they can copy any info there if they need a copy.
Wayne.

Just a quick update on our case (Not much of a breaking news yet, I know :D). CIO finaly sent us our file number today starting with E00....

E cas status showing CIO Eligibility Review Completed. Further info from the link: We received your application for permanent residence on January 12, 2011. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 16, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I still haven't received any mail/email from CIO yet.

Well, it's reassuring to know that CIO hasn't lost/misplaced our file ;) I guess we'll have t continue the waiting game.

Good luck to all and my heartiest congratulations to Grasshopper and others with MR/RPRF etc requests.

Hi. Hmm our medical request "letter" is just a checklist from CHC London, with lots of tickboxes and medicals are ticked along with fresh PCCs, RPRF etc.

We will take photocopies of bio pages just in case (although it doesn't ask for them) and we're paying for the medicals by credit card (strangely the DMP we're going to only takes card and won't accept cash or cheques!).

Thanks,
Wayne.

Even i did not receive any post from CIO or NDVO for RBVO ::)

no option but to keep waiting :(

Congrats grasshopper! :D

Thanks kpkinnera. I have (severally). There are a few of us on the waiting list with similar status who have not received the mail yet. My theory is that the CIO actually completed the eligibility review but needed to verify some info included on our supporting doc before sending out the PER mail.

Whatever the case, we can't do anything than wait; so wait we must. Hopefully we'll be able to share the good news soonest.

I have had a letter from the embassy asking me to do the medicals in a month time line. There was a closed envelope too which I was not supposed to open because the doctor would have done so before. If you have such a letter asking you to pay the fees and do ur medicals and ur pcc, please do take it with you.
