Wayne,

When you applied for APCO police certificate, was the passport photo stamped or attached to the certificate issued to you? I want to apply for mine today but the photo with me at home is a bit old. If they attached the passport photo with the certificate, then I will have to take another one but if its for their record, I may use the old one at home.
Please advise.
Thank you

Shalom

Trying to understand what you mean? The last PCCs we did, the photo was printed on the actual certificate. It's not just for their record it is a part of the certificate itself. This time, since the photo has to be recent, we got new photos took and included those with our PCC request.

The request didn't get there until today so we won't have the certificates back until the end of this week at the earliest, I'd imagine. Plus it is Easter bank holiday this weekend (Friday and Monday) so next Tuesday onwards is more likely.

I wonder if Grasshopper already received his visas and is busy celebrating? Unless we heard from him otherwise. I wish he gives some good news soon :)

Thanks,

Well, to be fair, Mr. Nectar's breaking news about post-June-26 applicants not being processed until October 2011 was for CHC London only.

So we need to see the first CHC London visa before we can really rub his nose in it ;)

OMG!!!!!! THE FIRST VISA IN THE SPREADSHEET!!
MY HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS :D
HAVE A GREAT LIFE :D

Hi Manji,

Nothing to worry, the DMP has taken only the minimum required photos for completing the med process.

This would not prevent the SG VO from issuing you the PR Visa.

God Bless you with smooth sail to Canada

Bindu

Dear Bindu,
Today I went for my Medicals to the DMP. It went well, but in my medical request lette from Singapore VO it was clearly written that I need to take 4 copies of passport size photo for each member of the family, but the DMP assitant took only two copies of photo for each! I pointed out to her a few times but she kept saying that whatever is written on the letter they always take two copies for each person!

Those who did their medicals can you pls tell me if the DMP was right or should I go to them tomorrow.......

Hi every body,
please update Medical request from Damascus VO on 18.04.11 ;) ;D
Please note that your application has reached the medical examination stage. To prevent delays caused by normal mailing service, you have the opportunity to choose between:
a) Either to come in person to Damascus, Syria or to authorise someone on your behalf to pick up your medical instructions and forms or;
b) To arrange with your commercial courier company to pick them up on your behalf, the courier company will need the following information: your file number, our below mentioned phone number and that the envelope is at the visa section.
If you feel that this is difficult to do, please advise our office and provide us with a reliable mailing address, so we can send your medicals. If you do not respond to this email within ten days, your medical forms and instructions will be sent to you via regular post to the address we have on file.

Congrats dear :) Guess folks are too excited about the first visa issued, and hence your post was overlooked :)

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Congrats Grasshopper! :) I updated your row in the spreadsheet to visa received!

Nice to see some numbers in that column! So how long was it from "Decision Made" to getting your visa? When are you planning to land? Exciting times!

Wayne.

Thanks Wayne,

Decision Made was on 10th April.. received Visa on 18th (considering 3 hlidays for postal department last week)
As per passport, Visa was stamped on passport on 7th April. Which meanes If we have a decision made status, VISA has already been stamped.

Hi Shalom,

Please do make a scanned copy of the received document , please do take photocopies of the Med document and sent it along with the cover letter, attach the scanned copy of the med form of all members (specially Section A with the photo) in the email, send the same via fax.

Please Note : The section A in Med request will not be handed over to you after the medical, the DMP will send it to VO directly hence you need to scan it before the medicals.

Yes, if you don't notify the VO immediately then there will be a delay in your visa processing

All the best with your PR visa processing, God Bless you and your family

Regards
Bindu

Bindu,
Thank you but they stated in the form that the SLIGHTEST DISCREPANCY COULD LEAD TO A VERY LONG DELAY if they are not notifed immediately. They also requested for copies of passport. I will send them email and fax tomorrow. If I am sending a letter, do I need to send the medical form with the error?
Thank you.

Shalom
