Hi friends

One thing which bothers me is that I am diabetic, I don't have any terminal disease because of that, I am controlling with diet and medication. Would this be a problem in Medicals, and should I voluntarily inform the doctor that I am diabetic or should not

Pls advise
Charlie

Dear Friends, I need an advise

While getting my submission ready, in Aug 2010, I had also obtained PCC from New Delhi. However, I did not sent them along with my application. Now London Visa Office has sent a request for PCCs.

Question. Can i still use the PCCs issued from India in August 2010, as I have never been to India since then ?? My consultant says, YES !!
Or is it advisable to obtain new ones (It will take a lot of running around for my Dad, in Delhi, plus time, plus money)

Please advise me on this !!

Hello Charlie,

The physician will ask you a set of questions that you will answer by Yes or No. Just tell him/her the truth. One of the questions is directly concerning diabetes. You will not need to voluntarily inform him. Be honest by all means.

Diabetes does not affect the status of your medicals. They are mainly concerned about serious diseases that may be contagious such as HIV, TB, Virus C and such. These will appear in the results of the blood/urine tests and the x-ray, if any.

Relax. You'll make it :)

Cheers.

You have still 4 months before PCC get expired.
You can send the same one & also attach a cover letter explaining "You never visited since then..."

Hope this should work easily as you were not in INDIA at all.. Good luck!

It is highly recomended that you submit the freash ones. Validity of PCC is six months maximum in every country.

So to avoid further delay in process you should submit fresh ones. Had you submitted along with application, then

there was not any need for that. Its totally my openion.

Thanks.

Leo,

We share a similar status here though I have completed my medicals more than a week ago!

The eCas will change to "Decision Made" only after the medical reports have arrived CIC and they have made a decision.

Check this link to get a better understanding:

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_wrkr&lang=en&app=ecas

This is for FSW who applied to NS as in my case.

Cheers.

Thanks Pippin for the answer and the really wonderful linl from MEZO. very helpful and informative!

I ahve another question. My consultant has just told me that we get two file numbers from the immigration, one on acceptance of documents by CIC in Nova Scotia and another from the visa office at the completion of document verification. Is this true? Also, when do we send the passports for stamping or do we just get a letter confirming the granting of permanent residence and the passport gets stamped at the airport upon entry?

Please, if some one could advise.many thanks

Hello Canada.

Yes, we will have two file numbers one from NS and one from local office....Do u have AEO? Please share your timelines. As I have AEO too and already had a PER from NS on 21st March now my case status is RBVO since 8th April....waiting for my 2nd AOR.............

god saves us all...

Hi m8 - no, neither my wife nor my employer were contacted, they just sent our MRs.

So they don't do employment verification on every application - just spotchecks or if they are not convinced by the documentation you have provided.

Best wishes,
Wayne.

thnx Wayne for the prompt reply....

i am just worried as they taking so long for our MR.....though i'v informed my boss to be prepared to expect a call from VO and he's Ok.....

all the best for ur Meds
