I received a reply from CIC about my enquiry for resending email that they send it on feb 25th which states still application is currently awaiting review. You will be contacted in due course with application no starting from # E0..........
I don't know why these people are taking so long time to review ...I think they need more manpower to overcome the load and built more jobs to the canadian people .

I saw a few cases have been transferred to Warsaw from Damascus. Is it due to the political situation in syria?

I think so....They sent email for those have been transferred to Warsaw...till now i didnt get any news....Anyway Damascus has sent some MRs ....so hopefully I would get some good news about being in process...

With the transfer of some cases to Warsaw means that less applications to be dealt with in Damascus VO. Lets hope that it will lead to faster processing for the remaining ones.

Me neither, I am with Buffalo VO but there is nothing going on. My ECAS is still "RBVO". Hopefully we get our MR before the end of this month.

It has been almost 8 months since the initial appilication to CIO (received by them September 1st 2010).

Cud some one tell me if there is any limit on the waist line measurement of candidates during the medical examination for Canada immigration? I have heard that some countries have some restrictions (like if you have a big tummy, they suspect you could be a case of some illness and can't make it) if any one could respond please. Also infor reg the type of tests conducted would be welcome as well. Mant thanks..

I have to ask u guys somethings.
My passport expires on first week on September. As it takes more than a month for getting a new one. Should I go for a new one now?
How much time it will take to change the status to "In Process" ?
And Well... does anyone get any verification call at their work place? what kind of questions they ask from the employee?
