** BREAKING NEWS from London **

Headline: WE JUST GOT OUR MEDICAL REQUESTS!! :)

Hi all - am very pleased to announce that we got our medical requests today! I popped home at lunch time to check the post, and sure enough the little brown envelope was waiting for us!

In addition for medicals for both of us they are asking for:
- Right of permanent resident fee
- Updated Schedule 1 forms for both of us
- Updated police certificates for both of us

Regarding the PCCs, I assume since ours run out on 17th July 2011 they feel it's cutting it a bit close to the wire, hence why they want fresh ones.

Really puzzled as to why they are asking for new Schedule 1s. The only change is that my company has been taken over and has a new name, but my job and duties haven't changed and we informed them of it.

On the correspondence they sent they gave no indication why they wanted new forms.

Ah well, no biggy :) Just very glad to get the medical requests! We're booked in for 1.30pm next Tuesday for medicals. Just thought I'd let you know asap to give hope to the scores of London applicants waiting - they ARE working!!

Wayne.

Congrats Wayne!!!! What a wonderful news!!! I hope Buffalo will pick up soon :)

Well, i think my application made them to call me.. not necessarily due to the fact that i am using a consultant. I guess 60-70% people of punjab use WWICS coz they are established name here and not all of there clients are called for interview. I am not recommending them to anyone now as i know that how easy it is to file your own application lol. Here are some facts about my profession.

1. Self Employed * This is the main reason i guess. I haven't seen many applicants in this noc who are self employed.
2. All clients in USA/Canada.
3. Income
4. Few other things that i don't want to discuss publicly.

Floating in the same Boat. I tried to contact you several time through PM but no response.

I guess all the people who went through the consultants are getting rough time from the NDVO. Specially North India or for that matter Punjab are more prone to fraud cases cropping up more often ( not that all persons who are going through some consultant or others are not genuine)

But at the same time I would welcome a policy change from Canadian Govt that all the immigrants(20000 capped) should be required to go through an Interview.

I will be more than happy to go for an Interview and have a chat with the "LADY" in maple syrup...lol :) :)

and @ANIL for you only """"""Wade Wade International Chor Saale (WWICS)"""""""

Hasib

Sorry to hear of your continual wait, hope you hear something soon!

I must admit the order they same to be processing at the visa offices is very difficult to fathom. Seems it depends on a large number of factors!

CONGRATULATIONS TO Cappuccino

I have following this forum for some time now. I think no one deserved more than Cappuccino for what he has been doing in this forum. Always prompt, always helpful, good and sincere advice, and always online.

Cheers (on weekend again)

One thing which does confuse me though - we received medical requests as a checklist ALONG with requests for fresh Schedule 1s (no reason given) and fresh PCCs.

Yet some London applicants have been requested by email to provide fresh Schedule 1s and PCCs but with no medical requests???

Can't fathom why theirs is different.

It must be your case being so straightforward Wayne. Others probably need to be still scrutinzed and then be sent the MR's. Don't you think so?

Just checked my ecas status and was surprised to see that my address showed up only 10 days after they've received my file! Status is still the same RBVO...

Lets hope that all the changes on ecas mean that Buffalo is getting ready to storm some medicals ;D

Tbh I've given up trying to second guess what the hell is going on over there.

I suspect we'll get a better idea once we have more medical requests and we can perhaps establish more of a pattern. The 3 medical requests we've had from CHC London so far doesn't really tell us enough!

Having only ever lived in England I imagine it is very quick for CHC London to perform our security checks, as opposed to anyone who has lived in other countries or is from a country other than the UK. Perhaps that has something to do with it?

Same here. Suddenly, today address showed up for mine too, but still says RBVO. I got PER on 3/9/2011. I hope this means soemthing.

For Buffalo applicants...
no update from my side too

But as I am checking everyday status, today on the CIC website, my mailing address has been posted along with same old message, RBVO (Really Wish it changes soon)
