The next day delivery will only cost you an added £7; but I suppose you will just safe a couple of days and then its not worth the added cost.

Incidentally does the accompanying letter with details of the PPRF provide a different time-line? Mine does. It states that the amount is to be remitted within 30 days, even though the main letter which also mentions the PPRF states 60 days.

Cheers.

Hi - standard service is £35 to get it within 10 working days, premium service is £70 to get within 2 working days. The "next day delivery" means maybe a faster postal delivery when they do send it, so IMO you will get it 1 working day sooner.

Sorry I passed the letter and documents to my wife at lunchtime (she works about 5 minute drive from where we live) to get the medicals sorted, so I don't have any of the documents with me at the moment.

Personally I'd rather have it 1 day later and get a couple of beers with my £7 ;)

Hi all,

Same as Asoo62, today I received the below email from Damscus:

Please note that your application has reached the medical examination stage. To prevent delays caused by normal mailing service, you have the opportunity to choose between:

a) Either to come in person to Damascus, Syria or to authorise someone on your behalf to pick up your medical instructions and forms or;
b) To arrange with your commercial courier company to pick them up on your behalf, the courier company will need the following information: your file number, our below mentioned phone number and that the envelope is at the visa section.
If you feel that this is difficult to do, please advise our office and provide us with a reliable mailing address, so we can send your medicals. If you do not respond to this email within ten days, your medical forms and instructions will be sent to you via regular post to the address we have on file.

Dear Asoo I am sending a PM to you. Please check your inbox.

Regards

Hey Spreadsheet Admins,

Can someone update the tracker for the guys from Accra who got request for docs like PCC and some of the other forms? At the moment, I believe drmoney, ralfee and naija pikin have reported receiving updates.
I see from the tracker that it is done for the London applicants (and still maintain the PER colours after) and nothing was done for the Accra guys.

I realise London is a bigger VO with more concerns but please update for these guys to ensure a clearer picture of the VO activities.
Thanks
.

Hi all,

As of today ECAS is showing our mailadress.
The only thing is.....the adress isn't right!
I've read that PER usually is coming by e-mail, but what if for some unknown reason CIO has decided to send it by normal mail?
ECAS is showing that a letter was send on 15th of March, but we haven't received anything yet!
So,Kind regards,
Louise!

Luoise,

Don't worry about the letter thing,it's the same typical sentence in everybody's ECAS and by that they mean the PER email. So they have sent you that email on 15 March. It might have gone to a wrong email address, like your mailing address that is put wrong on their system. Do send an email to them and tell them about the wrong address and also about not receiving the PER email so far.

Good Luck!

** BREAKING NEWS from London **

Headline: WE JUST GOT OUR MEDICAL REQUESTS!! :)

Hi all - am very pleased to announce that we got our medical requests today! I popped home at lunch time to check the post, and sure enough the little brown envelope was waiting for us!

In addition for medicals for both of us they are asking for:
- Right of permanent resident fee
- Updated Schedule 1 forms for both of us
- Updated police certificates for both of us

Regarding the PCCs, I assume since ours run out on 17th July 2011 they feel it's cutting it a bit close to the wire, hence why they want fresh ones.

Really puzzled as to why they are asking for new Schedule 1s. The only change is that my company has been taken over and has a new name, but my job and duties haven't changed and we informed them of it.

On the correspondence they sent they gave no indication why they wanted new forms.

Ah well, no biggy :) Just very glad to get the medical requests! We're booked in for 1.30pm next Tuesday for medicals. Just thought I'd let you know asap to give hope to the scores of London applicants waiting - they ARE working!!

Wayne.

Congratulations Wayne !

I have the same confusion about the updated schedule 1. Cairo visa office did not ask for that clearly. They have just mentioned among the letter sentenses that when I come to submit my receipt of payment, I will be submitting IMM8 application. This is not clear because such a format is supposed to be sent to people before when they were asked to submit their application package and another thing to say, the word (( Updated )) is not mentioned or referred to in the letter. I have sent them a case specific email and a fax to ask about that issue and I had never had an answer till now and I have already sent pcc and receipt without such an application 10 days ago. You have just refreshed the idea of sending them an email to ask about this kind of application wheather needed or not as I see london office has asked for an update
