So if one gets an interview call, more likely than not he/she has used a consultant (read 'WWICS ') -- Based on cases of Majorhell and 2 other cited references..........

Congrats, Wayne. Finally !!!....Now post-Wayne applicants will get one less response if they vent out their frustration !!!

Damnn.. WWICS everywhere.. :-p Mine is WWICS too. The only reason why i went with them was that i was damnnnnnn busy with my work so i had no option other than filing it through a consultant.

Yeehaa... Hello Wayne, you rock. I am so happy and excited for you. Its so nice to know that you've finally received your medical request. I'am in the dark here. Status still reads RBVO even though I applied and received my PER before you. I am so, so happy for you and I hope and pray I receive mine soon. I'am inspired by your good news.

Headline: WE JUST GOT OUR MEDICAL REQUESTS!! :)

Hi all - am very pleased to announce that we got our medical requests today! I popped home at lunch time to check the post, and sure enough the little brown envelope was waiting for us!

In addition for medicals for both of us they are asking for:
- Right of permanent resident fee
- Updated Schedule 1 forms for both of us
- Updated police certificates for both of us

Regarding the PCCs, I assume since ours run out on 17th July 2011 they feel it's cutting it a bit close to the wire, hence why they want fresh ones.

Really puzzled as to why they are asking for new Schedule 1s. The only change is that my company has been taken over and has a new name, but my job and duties haven't changed and we informed them of it.

On the correspondence they sent they gave no indication why they wanted new forms.

Ah well, no biggy :) Just very glad to get the medical requests! We're booked in for 1.30pm next Tuesday for medicals. Just thought I'd let you know asap to give hope to the scores of London applicants waiting - they ARE working!!

Wayne.

.... Don't really mind - the cost is relatively small and they took only 7 days last time we ordered them, and rather get them done now than add another delay later!..

7 days? Lucky you! This time it took me 8 days just to get the acknowledgement from ACPO. Hopefully I can get our updated UK PC by early next week, so that I can send all the documents requested at one go; and to think of it I opted for their Premium Service and with International Courier, and its already Day 12 today....

Cheers.

Maybe we were just lucky last time. We sent the on a Monday and they came through the post the following Monday. But should be no more than 14 days tops, and they've given us 60 days.

Hmm yeah but that's like twice the price and would mean an extra £70 for the 2 of us? Not sure there's much point in getting it that fast whey CHC probably have set a 60 day+ brought forward date, so even if they got meds and all the docs by the end of next week we still wouldn't see PPR until maybe mid to end of June?

Wayne.

Congrats Wayne! This is really good news! I guess 33 weeks means we will have our visa in 33 weeks time! ;D

Congrats Wayne, and all others!

Looks Buffalo is atleast/atlast flinching? I saw my address appear for the first time on ECAS.

Hopefully this is sign of something positive to come.

Ironically we got our medical requests 4 days before the "33 weeks" from arrival at CIO!
