Hello Everyone

Can somebody tell me what are the factors possible/contribute for late medical request. I am a November applicant, got PER in Feb but no medical till now. My visa office is New Delhi.

Not exactly Pavan... ::)

A Queue always works in FIFO (First In First Out) fashion, but the CIC and VOs are following no particular fashion and thus the haphazard picking up of cases.

Cheers!

True... seems to me a "Cherry Picking" - Easy case first :(

Well I disagree. We are husband + wife only, with only 1 country of residence ever, 76 points, 8.5 IELTS etc, PCCs already sent, plenty of funds. We've been 30 days "In Process" without hearing a peep.

The only easier case I can think of is someone applying by themselves! :)

I have no idea how they are establishing the processing order, at least at CHC London, but it seems unlikely they are hand-picking easy cases first.

Hi Cappuccino

One reason could be this as well that even the Pakistan FSW1 visa applications are also in processing in London which might have created a huge backlog there.

Well,

We cannot say... Who knows maybe they're picking up complicated cases first.

Anyways, I really feel that eCas is a failed system and should be redesigned to make it more informative and current so that the anxiety of the applicants can be eased.

Cheers!

Mayank, we have observed lot of variation at this stage in ND VO. Some of us like me and others got AOR 2 within 10 days of status changing to RBVO and medicals within next 7 days after AOR 2. But this is not standard case for everyone. Few of our friends who have received PER in december and january are still waiting for medicals. So it is very difficult to give any specific period. But remain positive and hope you receive AOR2 very soon.
Mayank, let me tell you that we are so lucky to be in ND VO as our process is very fast. Think of our friends of London, Buffalo and other slow moving VO's. They have applied in july, august and september and yet they have not heard of medicals. I really wish that all the sleeping VO's wake up and act fast.....

Also I wish that all the pending applicants of this forum receive good news soon... ;)
