I am quite surprised at the way ND VO is working ...... they must give clear instructions for the MR and also to the respective DMPs. B'lore is charging Rs 2300, Delhi (Max) is charging Rs 2750, Hyderabad (GYD) is charging Rs 2500. Though their instruction is crystal clear that the charge is Rs 2500 (18 years and above) ....I don't know then why this discrepancy...... ???

Cheers, Anil

You're right Anil... the fee should be consistently same across all the cities of a Country.

Is there a way we can report this discrepancy!?

I haven't even thought about ordering them, largely because there is no way I could be arsed to wait 45 days when by that time we may have medicals etc and they'd be irrelevant.

To make the system viable they should be available within a shorter timeframe.

Although actually if they simply made all the damn information accurately available on ECAS there would never be any need to order CAIPS notes!

Truly agree with you.. good for those guys who haven't received any information on their application..
secondly these organizations provide information using their Canada - Access to Information Act which is free within Canada...

Hmm thinking about using RTI to get information from ND VO, as we have the same act available here as well :P not sure if it will work!!

IMHO, I don't think RTI will be valid for the ND VO. :(

Right to Information Act is governed by Indian Constitution and all office of foreign embassies are governed by their respective countries law and in CHC case it works as per Canadian law and Ministerial Instructions.

Hey Guys,
Does any of the admin guys have access to CIC Ecas password? If yes, please change my status from RBVO to DECISION MADE AND VISA APPROVED. I am tired of seeing the same thing on my Ecas. Its about 2 months since receiving PER and it seems nothing is done since then.
So if the admin guys have CHC Ecas password, please facilitate the processing of my application.
My addiction to ecas and this forum is hitting me hard.

I am happy for ND and Manila applicants. I hope grasshopper Marple leaf reach him soon.

Best wishes to everyone

Congrats Always +ve, your passports are delivered soon with Maple leaf stamped ..

Regards

Well, with respect you are an end of October applicant. If you think it's tough waiting 2 months after your PER, we are now on 4 months after PER and counting and still no word from London!

And there are July applicants who have not yet gone into process! Things seem very random at London VO. The only two applicants to get medical requests that we know of are October applicants.

I guess we have the benefit of being "In Process", but we only have ECAS's word for that until we actually hear from London.

So really no idea how they are deciding which applications to process in which order....

came across a link, it says by paying a nominal amount 40$ - 60$ you can check the status of your application ( which stage it is in currently ) not sure if it's fake or genuine !!!!!

Thanks for sharing this! I just found this info on how to obtain CAIPS notes for free

Yeah seems if you know someone in Canada already you can provide an authorisation letter, which allows them to get the information on your behalf.

Also - I have no idea how much of this, if any, will include GCMS notes - and most of our applications will be either partly, or entirely, on GCMS by now.

Hi Shalom,

Well yes, we are "In Process" (if ECAS is to be believed). But also, and once again I mean this with respect, we've been "In Process" for just under 4 weeks and our application reached CIO 2 months before yours, and we got our PER 2 months before you.

So were we to follow the same timelines you shouldn't expect to get "In Process" for another 1 month.

However, the timelines at London seem very unpredictable, so tbh m8 you could go in process tomorrow, or could take several months, or anything in between! :)
