Just now I was checking my e-cas and it has showed the following :

We received your application for permanent residence on September 10, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 6, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 7, 2011.

Medical results have been received


Does anyone who has his e-cas status showing in process have the last sentense that I have in my status regarding medicals have been recieved ???

Single entry Visa ?? Is it like a single entry visa and then use your PR card if you want to re enter canada?? I wasn't knowing that.. Thanks for the information.

Another question for you.. what is the PIO card? what is the benifit of having it?

Well, I have to serve a 3 months notice period in my current organization.

so it would be around 3 months after I have my passport back with me.

Have you undergone the medical tests and when?

If that is the case.. They must have received your medical reports and Is a great news for you. ;D ;D ;D

If you havn't yet, then seems like Medical received bug resurfaced... and it's going to be a bigger joke on me.

Ecas system is so unpridictable.. you can't really trust unless I have my paasports back in my hand.

Yes , I have done medicals 3 weeks ago. However the results were supposed to be sent to london central medical department before it is sent back to cairo visa office. When I asked the doctor about the time line, he read it from the embassy letter that it is from 2 to 3 months. Now I am surprised that it was fast and just wondering if e-cas is playing the card game !

No Its not joke with you, Its not bug making an impression in ur case because you have got "DECISION MADE" in your ecase

status, So be positive its definite call for maple leaves.

I agree with you. New Delhi is the fastest visa and also efficient. When the fast track was launched the very first years in 2008 New Delhi was the 1st also to start getting visas, they have also come first with post June applicants. it is encouraging.

Well we are in the line still waiting and do not know how long we will wait

Don't worry Grasshopper...

As placebo has also mentioned the eCas bug is with "Medicals Received" message ONLY and not with "Decision Made". So you can rest assured that you can plan to hop on the Maple Leaves now

HI ALL!

Ok I am back (just walked through the door about 15 mins ago) from a weekend away.

Regrettably we haven't had MR yet or in fact any communication from London VO. It's now been almost 30 days since we went "In Process" without hearing anything, so starting to get worried!
We're planning to land at the end of August but at this rate even though that's 4.5 months away we're not going to have visa. Also a bit disappointed to see the London MR still at "2"!


However, congrats to Grasshopper looks like your visa will be with you very soon For sure New Delhi and Manila will be the first offices to issue visas.
