can any body tell me how long it will take to receive my file number ,, i sent my file in february 2011 and it was received on 26/feb/2011,,time between the receive of the file and issuing the file number?
30 - 35 days (as of today)
another question :they will give file number once they cashed out the money from my credit card or there will be delay between taking the money and giving the file number
After your application reached, it goes through Completeness check and then for payment encashment (within 10 days if paid through Cc). Once the payment been encashed, it goes through eligiblity test (takes up to 45 days - as on today). Once the eligibility test is completed, CIC will send you PER/NER with the file number. This is the time when you know about your application file number...

Processing time in Warsaw is 11 month. Sometime they write nonsenses.

Apparently, transfering is on a random basis and has no specific pattern as suggested so far by Canpars immigration consultancy.

Please be happy for your second AOR & don't bother with the time limit they give, they usually finish it in much less..
