While communicating with Buffalo VO donot use the online case specific query method

I used it 3-4 times during the past 2 months to contact them to change my address but there wasnt a single response

yesterday i emailed them at ------buffalo-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca and got a reply today

below is the reply.. Also as per them ecas isnt a method to track progress at Buffalo
==============================================
e-Cas is for applications processing within Canada only.

Immigration cases being processed in Visa offices outside Canada use a system different from that used to process similar applications in Canada. As a result, the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) does not reflect the status of cases being processed in Buffalo.

Do not use the CIC e-Cas on-line change of address system. Your new address will not be downloaded to your file in Buffalo.

Due to high volumes, we cannot acknowledge receipt of email, fax, regular correspondence (applications, payments, documents or information) or medical exam results.

If you have recently submitted documents or information to this office, we will update your file accordingly, if needed.

If we require additional documents, we will contact you.

Dear All,

I just got an email from Warsaw suggesting that my file has been transferrd to their VO . ??? ??? ??? They are saying that the purpose for this transfer is to expedite the processing. On the other hand they have mentioned that the average processing time in their office is 24 months! :o and I can contact them if I have not received any instructions from them in 12 months!!!

The wording of the email is very much similar to 2nd AOR's.

Those friends who have already received thir second AOR's ; Could you please tell me what average processing time they have suggested for your VO?

Does anyone have any idea about what are things like in Warsaw VO? Maybe from the experience of your friends?

I was truly hoping for an easy processing and I cannot guess what can I expect now! Poor my application has gone through all types of weird ups and downs so far! :( :-[ :-\

Keep me in your prayers pls,

Katy

Dear Katy,

Don't worry it isn't true. Please see here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp#europe

Processing time in Warsaw is 11 month. Sometime they write nonsenses.

Best wishes and conratulation for 2 AOR! :-* :-*

All right, no 2nd AOR for us, unreliable E-CAS and a slow VO. Nice, what else am I missing?

Guys I am ND VO applicants, lately I am getting very anxious. In how many days can we assume that we will get decision from the VO as we have already submitted our passports. In case we might need to go abroad which is clearly becoming in my case, I will be in a lot of trouble.

Dear all
I have a question and hope someone can help me with it,
A relative of mine has sent her application but missed to include the "current balance" paper of the settlement fund documents.
If she wants to wait and see if the application will be rejected and sent back, she has to wait for about 3 or 4 months from now to get a NER and that would imply losing the chance to apply for this year as it'll be after June 2011.
So I want to know if CC being cashed means for sure that the officer has ignored this flaw and the application has passed through completeness check? Or will there still be a possibility that the application will be rejected for this flaw in the future?
Do you think the best solution is to send the complete application again? or to rely on cashing of CC as an indication of completeness check being done?
Thank you all

Dear doctorahmed,

Currently CIO is taking 30-120 days max for issuing PER .

I advise you to take note of your CC card details. If its charged then you will get PER for sure.

But if its not then its sign of NER.

Advise you to contact CIO for details.

Regards,
Mayank
