Received the receipt for RPRF from the VO today....nothing much written in the letter enclosed ;D...it just says

" Please find enclosed your immigration processing/right of permanent residence fee receipt. Please quote as mentioned above file number in all your future correspondence "

It seems that calculation for Column 'S' - "No. of Days" of the "Processing at Visa Office" section of the New Delhi tracking sheet is messed up.

For Indira it shows the No. of days = 40,633. That comes out to 111.32 Years... ;D

I've a WOWWWWWW news to share with u all specially to singapore applicants and bangladeshis. Guess what!! I got my MR today dated 24 th march. Well beside MR, RPRF, photo's and FBI clearance they r asking for my updated personal net worth statement with supporting documents and last 12 months bank statement.......................

Did they ask to fill up any form for "personal net worth statement"?
Some VO (manilla, Sao paolo) checklists have this included whereas Singapore VO doesn't

Dear Magdy,
If you refer to paying in egyptian pound, you will stick to the table dated 2007. It was 2,550 for a single person for the right for permanent residence fee. You should notice that you will have to do a copy of that letter once you go to citibank as they ( in the bank ) will take a copy of the table besides your payment. They will give you the original receipt and you will have to copy it 3 times before sending it. With regards to the IMM8 application, I have no idea if we are supposed to send it again or an updated one. However, I sent my documents with including this form after getting no reply from the embassy side eithe by case specific enquirey or fax. I believe it is a standard format of the letter

Thank you for your help. Just to make it clear for myself:
- I will copy the letter of instructions as I go to the bank
- I will take the original reciept from the bank then make 3 copies
- I will prepare a letter to VO with IMM8 and the original reciept (keeping the 3 copies to myself)

Is that right ?

Congrats.. Cheersman for your 2nd AOR. I too have recieved my PER on 3rd March like u and my status is RBVo...hope I too will recieve my AOR within few days...

By the way where did u receive your 2nd AOR letter in Mumbai or Cochin?

Hello All,

Just be very careful while ordering a Draft fo RPRF.
Excerpt from one of the websites:

My passport & other documents reached New Delhi Consulate on 22/05/09.
My interview was most probably waived because I got the Request Letter for Medicals & sending the passports and other documents after first approval.
Yesterday the Immigration office sent back the RPRF Fees Draft back because it was Payable in the name of "Director General OF Canada". They wanted it Payable to "Director General FOR Canada" or "Canadian High Commission" New Delhi. The mistake was just OF instead of FOR.
I immediately got a new Drft made payable to "Canadian High Commission" New Delhi & sent it by speed post yesterday itself.
I do not know/understand what is the status of my Application at this stage though it seems that my documents, passports etc have reached the Consulate, the new draft should be with them today or by Monday.
Does it mean that the result of my Medicals has been received & approved by the Immigration Department.?
