I was living in Singapore for almost 2 years and i was not PR, i had work permit only, how should i obtain PC from there?
I was thinking as they have changed the rules and they only issue PC for citizend , i should not apply for it.

How to obtain a police certificate
Singapore

Do I need to provide a police certificate when applying for permanent residence?
Yes. However, you cannot apply for a police certificate without an official request from an immigration office. Therefore, a Certificate of Clearance (COC) request letter will be sent to you after the submission and review of the application. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) will not process a request without an official request letter.

How and where do I obtain one?

If you live in Singapore

The Certificate of Clearance (COC) is issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Applicants residing in Singapore are to appear in person at the COC Office. A COC request letter will be sent to applicant after submission and review of the application. CID will not process a request without an official request letter.

Applicants should present a COC request letter from the Canadian visa office and a completed COC application form along with the necessary supporting documents :

a full set of fingerprints taken by a qualified fingerprint official, or at the COC office at the time you apply,
a photocopy of your current passport,
two recent passport-size photographs, and
a bank draft in Singapore dollars for the applicable fees payable to 'Head Criminal Records CID.'

If you live outside Singapore

Applicants residing overseas should submit their applications (original) by mail to:

Head Criminal Records,
CID (COC Office)
Blk D Police Cantonment Complex
#02-07/08
391 New Bridge Road
Singapore 088762
E-mail: SPF_CID_COC @ spf.gov.sg
Website: www.spf.gov.sg

For non-Singapore citizens the Certificate of Clearance will be mailed directly to the Canadian Immigration Office requesting the certificate. For more information please consult the Singapore Government website: http://www.spf.gov.sg/epc/cert_issued.htm

Dear hope2011,
Can you explain this line - " around the same time there are a few other singaproe applicants got PCC requirements."
Whom are got PCC requirements?
As I am not yet send PCC with my application and we are not required MR to apply for PCC in our country.

Good wishes to hear more news in this coming week.
Arasah

I remember sometime ago Kafeme (not sure about my spelling since he is not on the tracker) and Fighter got this letter requesting for PCC after their 2nd AOR (you can find the exact date if you donot mind the trouble to look back many many pages). About PCC I am only referring to Singapore side, for Singaporeans and PRs (the rules can be different) the PCCs will only be issued when you get the letter from VO.

Also for those who know better pls correct me if I am wrong!

Dear Mr. Arash,

I think hope2011 wanted to say that, there may be some applicants who get the request for PCC after 8th March. But dear hope2011, do you know anyone or provide any reference who got such request?

In my country MR is not required to apply for PCC as like Mr. Arash. I am also under Singapore VO.
My presumption is, people who didn't sent PCC before, will get the request for PCC, MR together!

ekram787

Kafeme (not sure about the spelling since he is not on the tracker but he posted this message on this thread) and Fighter got PCC requirment letters after their 2nd AOR. Thanks.

Anil,

Thanks for the detailed note... Now the B/F acronym makes complete sense to me. :)

The CHC has asked for the following from us in the latest letter:
1. Medical Reports
2. RPRF
3. Supporting Document for the Marriage like Photos etc.

Now, do you guys think we should send the RPRF and the Supporting Documents ASAP before Medicals happen (as we've been given an appointment after 15 days :() or do we need to wait and send them the Medical Reports + RPRF + Supporting Material all together?

Thanks,
DarKnight

Guys... Any comments/advice on the above will be appreciated.

Thanks,
DarKnight

That's very contradictory to what that is posted in Singapore Police Force's webpage - http://www.spf.gov.sg/epc/cncc_notice.htm.

Is that from the CHC's webpage?

As per spreadsheet, Fighter not yet get any 2nd AOR. So, we may hear from Fighter.
I hope if anybody get PCC request alone (without MR) after 2nd AOR, they can post in this thread.
Cheers Hope2011.

Thanks. Interestingly the SPF link - http://www.spf.gov.sg/epc/cert_issued.htm - provided in the above CHC website still maintains that its only given to Singapore Citizens.
