Today my lawyer inform me that I have received my MR and RPRF
;D

Congratulations Kevinca! Hopefully Singapore VO maintains this over the coming week(s).

Please do share the following.

  • The date shown in ECas as to when CIC started processing your application (i.e. the 3rd line); and
  • Where your lawyer is based. Just trying to understand why a letter dated 8 March 2011 sent by Singapore VO took such a long time to be delivered. Of course we cannot rule out that they could have mailed it much later than that date.

Cheers.

Congratulations to Kevinca!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first Singapore applicant got MR!

From the details given by Kevinca, may I say that Singapore VO classified applicants in 2 categories:
1. applicants sent PCC : 2nd AOR then directly MR
2. applicants without PCC: 2nd AOR then PCC then MR

I am saying this since Kevinca's letter is dated 8th March, and around the same time there are a few other singaproe applicants got PCC requirements.

Another theory is that for those who applied from Singapore will get PCC first rather than MR, since Singapore police won't issue PCC without the letter from VO. So my guess is that for those applied from Singapore will have to submit PCC before get MR.

Glad that Singapore VO really wake up. Correct me if I miss any details. Good luck to every one!

Hey guy's,

Today we have finished our medicals, It took almost 2.5hrs. They will be sending our reports to Canadian High Commission by Monday... i.e. 28.03.11. Following tests we have undergone:

We have being charged INR 5,500/- (2 adults +1 Child).

Rgds,Raj.

"We have being charged INR 5,500/- (2 adults +1 Child)". Thats about £80. That is a lot cheaper than about £300 or more in the UK (post by one of the 2 Londoners who got MR).
Best wishes friend

Freinds,

I got the MR yesterday, the date of which was 3rd March 2011, i got it after 22 days from the date of dispatch.

Now i am going to take appointment for MEDICAL on sunday.

But one onfusion, They have asked for 5 pp size photographs, should i send latest photograph with negative or
the photos which i had send to cio is ok with negative, which was suit before 6 months.

Another query:
They have not updated by little girl in medical as they might have start processing after dispatching the MR
of me and my spouse. Till date have not send medical request of her.
As they had debited the draft on 9th march, for my baby girls, probably they are sendig the MR for her also.

Meanwhile i am thinking abt to send a query regarding the same, is it a good decision or should wait for her medical?

Mistake of VO
Also in a medical request form 'A', the surname of my spouse is mistake.
That should be 'Sedai' but they have mentioned 'Sedal'.
Should i approach for the new request to vo or simply send the medical on the same one.
Does such a small typing mistake will be considered?

Congratz ashivet!!!!please have a look to my PM.

A very big congrats to all who got their MR, PPR, etc. While we wait for London VO to release the PAUSE button in order to send more MRs, I am pleased many of the forum members are moving ahead. I must say that I am jealous of Manila applicants - November applicants getting MR already.

LOL
Shalom

These are speculations from individuals. I don't think it worths troubling ourselves about.
I am particularly not bothered about it until something is officially said or actually see some adverse effects on present processing timeline.
Best wishes mate.

congrats Jignesh :)

its enough if u take 1 DD (both u and ur spouse)...and also remember, when u take the DD

1. The beneficiary name should be "Canadian High Commission" if its in INR

OR

2. The beneficiary name should be "The Receiver General for Canada" if its in CAD

both payable at New Delhi :)

All the best !!!!

Regards,

Shareen

Dear hope2011,
Can you explain this line - " around the same time there are a few other singaproe applicants got PCC requirements."
Whom are got PCC requirements?
As I am not yet send PCC with my application and we are not required MR to apply for PCC in our country.

Good wishes to hear more news in this coming week.
