You could be right ..... However, there are quite a few ND applicants whose files start with B and have received their MR. Could it have anything to do with the number of points?

Very much doubt it. We have 76 points and no MR yet. I think if you're over 67 it doesn't matter if you have 67 or 100.

Will have to see if some more London applicants get MRs, and see if a pattern emerges. But the CAIPS/GCMS different with B05/E00 file numbers is my best guess so far as to why October applicants are getting medical requests before July/August/September applicants.

quick question for all who have received MR/PPR from ND: Is ND visa Office asking for fresh PCC again (that is when you had submitted them once to CIC but ND is asking again)??

My status is "In process" and was wondering if I should apply for PCC now as getting them from the US is quite time (and $) consuming!

I am confused.. again!!

Regarding the PCC; can i take the same from the Police station in which my area belongs or do i need to get it from Commissioner of Police.. i visited the control room at Baseerbagh (hyd) and he asked me to go to Madina, Old City.

What shall i do??

@ Anil: how are you proceeding??

Hey,

U need to get it from the commissioner's office....which in turn will be forwarded to ur local police station for verification.....but ultimately its issued by the commissioner's office....i got mine too from the commissioner's office....it should take abt 6 - 10 days to get it.....

Hey ignu,

like i said, if your PCC is more than 6 months old by the time the ND-VO starts processing ur application , there is a chance they might ask for a fresh one.....according to ND-VO validity of PCC is only 6 months.....

how old is ur PCC from the US ?

According to CIC website,

For districts other than the Punjab:
Applicants should contact the local Senior Superintendent of Police/ Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Additional Commissioner of Police, or the Station House Officer (Police clearance certificate issued by the Regional Passport Office are also acceptable.

For residents of the Punjab:
Only the Senior Superintendent of Police or the Regional Passport Office may sign a Police Clearance Certificate.

I guess PCC issued by the SP should be fine too according to CIC.... :)

Hi. When you first log into ECAS you get the principal applicant name in bold at the top.

Then directly underneath that is a box entitled "Your current mailing address" (this is similar to the box further down with Applicant/Permanent Residence Application Status with the same header). Underneath "Your current mailing address" is the text "If you want to see the details of an application, click on the underlined status." and then you get the "Permanent Residence Application(s) " and the other box underneath that.

So it's really a question of whether you have the "Your current mailing address" box underneath the principal applicant name at the top of the page or not.

Your file number starts E00 so maybe applicants who were added directly onto GCMS (E00) get a different screen to those who were initially added onto CAIPS (B05)?

Thanks again Shareen :D

Well, in my case PCC from India was issued in late July and from US it was issued early Sept.

Also, you mentioned that for ND PCC is valid only for 6 months and not for 12 months, as it states in EG-7. Did you cite any particular source? I quickly looked over my ND checklist and it says nothing on the validity.

I guess, my best option is to apply now and be ready. Last time it took me almost 2 months to get them for me and my wife. (US)

Any news from Buffalo yet??
