I have a question for you. It is quiet well known that CIO issues PER if the applicant passes eligibility review. But does CIO issue NER if the applicant doesn't pass the eligibility review ?

Today my consultant forwarded a notice from CIO stating that they've received my GENERAL ielts results and that they've forwarded my application to the Visa office (Manila). The letter was dated March 17, 2011.

the PER speed has paced to its maximum, but i am still waiting for response from CIO, almost 4months passed and waiting helpless, which is killing me. Any suggestion from folks, what steps to take in? besides waiting!!! ??? ???.

Yes. If you fail the eligibility review at CIO you get an email (NER) explaining the reasons, and that the application is on its way back to you.

However, if you fail the completeness check prior to this (i.e. your CC/BD are not cashed) then you don't get any email, they just send the application back.

First of all, congrats to all the PER receivers!

But it's driving me crazy....... ???
I have filed my application on 29th of december, CC encashed on 18th of january and still no PER........
I'm a FSW2 applicant, wel my husband is, we have been waiting for my AEO approval for 30 weeks ( almost a visa procedure ) and now it seems CIO is letting us wait a bit longer than the rest of the december applicants....
Sometimes life is so frustrating! :
I didn't put my info on the tracker because I didn't want to tempt fate...
But, now I've told some things about myself maybe Wayne/Indira can add me to the tracker?

Don't worry! We are also Cat 2 and we waited about three weeks longer for PER than the Cat 1s who submitted at the same time as us.
I believe that this is because there has been a lot of fraud regarding bogus job offers recently and so i think CIO really check your job offer and related paperwork thoroughly before giving PER.
Be happy - we do not have to worry about the NOC fulfilment of experience or the Proof of Funds and I know that London are quoting less time for Cat 2s than Cat 1 to process, so you might make up ground on the Cat 1s at that stage.

Thanks for ur response, i contacted CIO and they send me that my application is awaiting review from the officer, but its been 2 weeks i got email. and now nothing, just can't hold on waiting for Positive response.

No, I haven't received any news from CIO.

I send them another mail two hours ago.

Did you see my yesterday post

I am watching our tracker and see that CIO's staff become very effective.They issue PER for 57 days.

They will review all applications for one month and after that they will beg postmen to give them more applications

If they haven't my application, they will be redundant.
