Thanks, Wayne. I am sorry I am new to this forum , can you tell me what do PER and AOR stand for ?
And what is the time duration from the CIO eligibility email to hearing from the visa office?

Hi Krsna

Welcome to this thread. PER means Positive Eligibility Review. Once your completed application gets accepted at CIO, they will have an Eligibility Review as per MI. If it gets approved, CIO will send an email confirming this. PER is an unofficial term used only in this forum. .... Where as AOR means Acknowledgement Of Receipt. Once your file comes to Visa Office, they will start further processing / review. At that time they will send you this by normal post (In India). This is an Official term. ....
You can have a look at different trackers (International and New Delhi) and calculate the approx. timelines. ......
Hope it clarifies your doubts.

Cheers, Anil

I seriously think it's time for you to make an online inquiry into the status of your application.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

i send inquiry but i did not get response on that, i thing my lawyer deleted my E-mail id in my application

i have another doubt he may received my AOR but not released to me until 2nd AOR from VO London

becouse our payment system is 3 stage

1. starting payment for CIO application filling
2. London VO application filling ( New system not available)
3. After medical receiving

HE MAY SUSPECT I WILL CANCEL LAWYER SUPPORT FROM VO, BECAUSE NO MORE FILLING APPLICATION FOR VO WORK

THIS IS MY ASSUMPTION ONLY

ANY WAY I AM WAITING FOR GOOD REPLY

Thanks Anil. Your timeline seems to be close to mine. I applied in NOV'10 and got PER in Feb'11.
I read somewhere there will be a 120 day deadline for submitting docs to Visa office. What is that?

Hi sure - please check the spreadsheet and provide all the extra information (such as your NOC code, category 1 or 2, visa office, whether you included PCC or not etc) and we can add you in :)

NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning our ECAS status reads "In Process" and we have the following in the detail:

We received your application for permanent residence on August 30, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 15, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 15, 2011.

Another ray of hope for London applicants? :)
Of course, we have yet to see any of these changes translate into anything with substance such as 2nd AOR or med requests but it is encouraging.

And we get to post this news on page 1337. Leet :)
Wayne.

Wow!!! Very glad for you and all London VO applicants!!! Carry on!!! Wish you smooth processing!
