Congrate Dr. ray
May i know what was the issue date & receiving date of your 2nd AOR?

regards,
Dr.Hasib

2nd AOR according to the tracker was 2nd March. So that shows a different process altogether at Singapore. 2nd AOR and then 12 days later ECAS status changes to In Process.

Here with London applicants the ECAS status changes first, yet we still haven't had 2nd AORs.

Maybe London will go straight to medical requests?

My friends

Still now i did not receive my 1st AOR from CIO

My score was exactly 67 for that they may checking more and more

I am waitting

London VO will work soon for us

Hmm, yes that's possible. Borderline cases they may wish to check thoroughly, perhaps even doing 2 reviews to be sure. Rather than fail or pass applicants wrongly.

Our score was 76 so we didn't really experience any delay.

On my E-case it still the same Received by Visa Office so i think it is not Bug may be they are working on August Applicant now and start Processing and since Linkrink is not posting that he received any thing so we will for you Wayen to tell us what we will wait for i think if they will send 2nd AOR it will take up to 3 days to be in your Mailbox and soon you will got your MR hope this will happen to me next week may be when they will start working on Sep. applicants

I seriously think it's time for you to make an online inquiry into the status of your application.

Thanks,

The email is the letter. They say "letter" on ECAS even with an email. If you received your PER then the next thing you will hear about is from the visa office.

Hi dear friends,
My ecas status just turned to "Received by Visa Office". :)

Congratulations Dr Alex , Dr Medhat and Magdy580 :) :)
Congratulations to each and everyone of you receiving good news , and best of luck for the remaining process . :)

@ Moori and DrAlex ,I'm so happy for your progress ,if you can kindly inform us with the results of your email inquiry to the VO,that would be very kind of you.Thanks.

@Engy and Canady I think you're next in line for receiving your good news ISA. ;)

hi fellows..

i am done with my Medicals.. it took roughly a hour for the checkups and consultation by the doc.

for PCC; i am applying thru RPO. they said they wud require a proof of current resident address along with the application so that they cud send the PP to the current address only.

Well it's been 2 weeks or so since Linkrink's status changes, still with no report of a 2nd AOR. However, each visa office seems to have their own system. We cannot dismiss the possibility that London won't even bother sending 2nd AORs for >J26 applicants and will go straight for medical requests and/or additional document requests.
Wayne.
My ECAS is still RBVO so it is not a ECAS error. The last time we had ECAS error, it was incorrect for everyone (the medicals bug). It is also following the timeline as linkrink, rawheal and you are all changing and we are not. Very encouraging.

NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning our ECAS status reads "In Process" and we have the following in the detail:

We received your application for permanent residence on August 30, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 15, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 15, 2011.

Another ray of hope for London applicants? :)
Of course, we have yet to see any of these changes translate into anything with substance such as 2nd AOR or med requests but it is encouraging.

And we get to post this news on page 1337. Leet :)

And what is the time duration from the CIO eligibility email to hearing from the visa office?

Thanks Amr for the kind wishes. Allow me to share u the wishes for all Cairo VO especially our dear friend Canady.

I think the landing fee is the same RPR fee (490$CAD)/ applicant (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp), nothing else as you c here.
How comes they are asking you to submit IMM8 by yourself! You are right. Lot of confusion there but the best is to send e-mail as you did to get the written answer from them & u have to keep it as your proof.

Let me ask you how long it takes to receive the medical result? Please give me the exact phone number for Cairo VO u used to contact them as I want to do that tomorrow morning to find about my package.

I'm sorry as I'm not able to give further details about my case as I still didn't receive my package from the embassy, I should receive it next week as they just told ARAMEX today that it's not ready yet.

Regards dear,
Mohamed
Oh you have not yet recieved your letter ! So you must have came to know that your medicals is on the way to you through their call on your phone. Is this true ?
I will be glad to know from you about the letter details when you have a chance to get them isA very soon :) Maybe you have something to share when you read it that didnt come up through their call. Yes you should be right that the landing fee is the same as the right of permanent residence fee. I will be getting to know this as soonas they reply.

To answer your question, I have to tell you that I recieved my medical request on the 8th of march while I had my 2nd AOR on the 25th of february. It's almost 2 weeks time. But if you refer after they called me, it took them one day to send it by dhl to home address. Regarding the canadian embassy contact number, it is clearly posted on their website and I will make sure to write here to you too. It is 0227918700.
I will be waiting your input as soon as you have the letter from aramex in hand :) cheers
Regards, Amr

Very good news Wayne. I think this could be considered a 2nd AOR. If your application is truly "In Process," next thing you should hear is medicals I would assume. Definitely good news, provides a ray of hope for all of us Buffalo candidates who are still "CIO eligibility review complete"... Hope other London candidates are checking their ECAS to confirm your news...
