Hi Aakash my file number starts with B and I have never been able to login....

I have tried every possible ways! I was able to log in for last one month, but now i cannot. I was searching the help section on the website and found that they have abbreviated each of the types of possible entry. I used to use my application number as my Immigration File number and it was working. My file number started with "E"; but now in the explanation it states that:

Immigration File Number

You will find this number on any official document issued to you from the visa office where you submitted your application. Your "Immigration File Number" starts with the letter "B", and is followed by nine numbers. (Example: B000000000).

Does it mean, anybody with "E" file number and those files that have reached to VOs cannot log in unless they get a "B" file number?

Seniors please advise! I am really clueless. I have sent case specific inquiry to my VO (Singapore); but have not got anything back yet.

I would like to confirm one thing, Do I need to visit RPO with form available on the RPO website without appointment or i need to take appt first.

if u can share some process for the same then it would be g8.

If you are in Bangalore or Chandigarh, you will need to take an appointment with the Passport Seva Kendra. Last time I went there, even though my address in the passport was different from my current address, I got the PCC immediately.

Thanks for the reply Grasshopper. I see the below line in my Medicals and PPR request.

"for yourself CIIP-Letter This must be received at this office by 04/27/2011"

I'm confused if I need to take a CIIP appointment or fill out some kind of form. The CIIP sessions happen in New Delhi and I'm not sure if they want us to travel all the way.

Dear 'mperei02', have you ever tried with UCI number against 'Client ID Number' ? it works same as Application File number.
