verification is the most important step in the whole process..

Do they really call every single applicant employer? I really doubt this specially if you provided enough evidence and they are convinced. Imagine the time and work to verify everyones employment by call or visit.

Rod :)

Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Thanks 9j, Eljo, Anil, and Bkcnbr!!!!

They do not call to verify everyone's employment. They will call if they have doubts on the authenticity of your work experience documents, and in addition they will verify a small random % to act as a deterrent.

I would estimate only around 5% of FSW applicants will have employment verification checks.

My husband and I had the same experience as many others when we went to get our PCC.

Since there were no appointments at the Passport Office, we went to the Police Commissioner's Office. If you have a chance to get the PCC from the Passport Office instead of the Police Commissioner's office, I would highly recommend you to do so.

Shareen's advice greatly helped us through the process. Thank you Shareen! :)

We went on a Tuesday and landed up a little early to avoid any queues. We also tried to convince the person at the counter that we needed only a PCC and not a PVC (Police Verification Certificate) he would not budge. So we ended up taking them.
He also asked us for lots of photocopies - all pages of passport where entry and exit were stamped at immigration gates. An address proof and six photos.
He asked me for my marriage certificate but when I gave it to him, he returned it saying he didn't need it :O

He asked us to goto the local police station and check tomorrow. We were told that we can expect the PCC by end of the month. Hopefully things will go on smoothly!

Thank you shareen

I would like to confirm one thing, Do I need to visit RPO with form available on the RPO website without appointment or i need to take appt first.

if u can share some process for the same then it would be g8.

Hi Bhavik,

U can apply either thru the RPO or the police commissioner's office.....

RPO would be a good choice if u r staying in the same address as mentioned on the passport and ur passport was issued by that RPO....then u should get it in about 3 days time....

if not apply thru the police commissioner's office....it should take about 7 days....

Hi guys!

I hope everyone is well. Congratulations to all who have been able to move a step forward with the process. I didn't see too many PERs today which is a little disappointing.

I had one question to people who have already got their Medicals or PPR. Have any of you been asked to submit the CIIP form? What exactly do we need to do? Sign-up for that program? Is there a specific form for that purpose? In my envelope I received a letter outlining the benefits and encouraging us to attend it [this is apart from the CIIP brochure]

Please advice.
I don't even have CIIP brochure in my envolope.
