Thanks Dr Hasib !
I found a number to call from within Canada, I could ask a canadian friend to call on my behalf... what's your insight?
if he is not your representative then CIO might not provide him your information.

Do we only have 2 VOs in this process (or 3 by including Egypt)?
Does the ministerial instructions apply to just these VOs?
What in heaven is happening to the rest????/ :o >:(

I submitted all documents in one go... including pcc's and ielts. So what do u people think will be happening from now on. Theerhe previous offer of gratitude and nice cold pint still stands if we happen to meet up in canada...

Dear All,

Its been 5 days now that i cannot log in to E-cas system using the immi file number provided by CIO with my PER. I was able to log in for last one month after i got my PER on Feb 8th. All of a sudden it just not letting me in! My last update was "Received by Visa Office". And i get the following message every time i am trying:

...
Any idea? Anybody else getting similar message? A bit worried.

I has just checked my ecas. No problem at all. Still it mentions RBVO. Your case, I think that you may have a mistake somewhere when you input the data. Please check again your Surname/your ID number. If I wrongly type these data, I receive the same message as you received.

I have tried every possible ways! I was able to log in for last one month, but now i cannot. I was searching the help section on the website and found that they have abbreviated each of the types of possible entry. I used to use my application number as my Immigration File number and it was working. My file number started with "E"; but now in the explanation it states that:

Immigration File Number

You will find this number on any official document issued to you from the visa office where you submitted your application. Your "Immigration File Number" starts with the letter "B", and is followed by nine numbers. (Example: B000000000).

Does it mean, anybody with "E" file number and those files that have reached to VOs cannot log in unless they get a "B" file number?

Seniors please advise! I am really clueless. I have sent case specific inquiry to my VO (Singapore); but have not got anything back yet.

Updated your details :) Welcome to our group again:).

So, the Visa Office is not supposed to send the PCCs for you :P. They will request for the PCCs at a later stage and you will have to send them to the VO:).

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Indira, if you look at the Canadian government's website, it states that in my case (as a Venezuelan) they will do it on my behalf.

"The Canadian office processing your visa application will obtain the police clearance on your behalf.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/central-south-amer/venezuela.asp

However I have already requested it on my own as well. I'll be sending it as soon as I see my application's status changed to "Received by VO"

Thanks Indira! :)

Hi guys!

I hope everyone is well. Congratulations to all who have been able to move a step forward with the process. I didn't see too many PERs today which is a little disappointing.

I had one question to people who have already got their Medicals or PPR. Have any of you been asked to submit the CIIP form? What exactly do we need to do? Sign-up for that program? Is there a specific form for that purpose? In my envelope I received a letter outlining the benefits and encouraging us to attend it [this is apart from the CIIP brochure]

Please advice.

Congrats royalman on your PER

So JAN. applicant is on roll.

Mayank
