Hi all,

seems like some movement at Buffalo VO

Right now my ECAS status changed from CIO ER complete to, Received by visa office and
We received your application for permanent residence on August 30, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 16, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I just check mine Also still received by VO
I don't believe this Nectar guy but I believe what I see infront of my eyes if we got another member with this E-case from the early London Applicant so may be something is happening and we are going to see movement by the end of this month in London VO but if the waiting period start to be longer and longer I think I will feel bad about such a silly behavior from London VO

aug./sep/oct buffalo applicants... can u guys check and confirm if there has been a change in ur status>???

Hi All,

I am new to this forum and preparing my application to apply for Immigration. I have over 8 years experience in one of the 29 occupations eligible for immigration, but the problem is I don’t have employment contracts form my previous employers, I only have

1- Experience letter just mentioning the position from the employer I worked for - 1 year

2- Detail employment reference letter (explaining job duties, positions, salary etc but does not say whether it was part time or full time) from one of the employer where I worked for - 3.5 years

3- Employment contract, detailed reference letter from my current employer where I am working for the last - 3.5 years

London visa office checklist is asking for copies of notarized employment contracts from present and past employers, what you think they will give me full 21 points for over 4 years experience or just 19 points for 3.5 years experience just because I don’t have employment contracts?

I would appreciate if anybody can share his/her experience.

Thanks

my status is still CIO ER complete
Hopefully, we will get there......

Congrats on your changed status, but there's no change for me even though I got PER 3 days before yourself :(

Hi Vicky,

its better u submit them after the 2nd AOR because they will have time to update ur file and send the medicals for your child too....every applicant is to undergo the medicals....if u send it after the medical request, u may have to wait for your chld's medical request after that....

and also, since u r including a new born, (i forgot to mention in my previous post), u need to show POF for 3 ppl now...dats abt 17000 CAD.....

the pcc and rprf can be sent after u receive ur medical requests....but send ur new born's application as soon as u receive the 2nd AOR...
this is my opinion....u can check with others too...

all the best !!! :)

Shareen
Dear Shareen, thanks for your valuable advise. i shall definately go by your advise & keep all the doc like latest POF, child birth certificate & Application fees for child ready & shall sent it to new delhi vo once 2nd AOR is received. i have another query in this regards, does a new born child have to undergo a medical test & what kind of test it is ? also how much will it cost for me ,my spouse and my son.

Regards,
Vicky

I have submitted too in similar format.

Also, Where should I apply for police certificate?

Well, we have all(at least me and Anil) have provided an Excel sheet in the same format already to the CIO. That was a part of the checklist. I'm unsure if you have sent them that at all initially?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

thanks.. i hope its not a fluke canadajimmy...ecas gives a light of hope.. but is not a reliable one :(

Is there some reason why you cannot contact the previous employer and ask them to write you a reference letter now? This is what most people have to do. It would be a shame to lose 2 points you have earned, unless you are well over the required 67 and have the luxury of taking that chance.
